(1) Could I …?是一个礼貌请求的句型,could是情态动词,并非表示过去, 相当于Can I …?句型。回答时不能用could,而用can。 —Could I sit here?我可以坐在这儿吗? —Yes, of course. / Sorry, I am afraid you can’t. 是的,当然可以。/对不起,恐怕不行。 (2)mention sth. to sb. 意为“向某人提及某事”。 I mentioned this idea to my mum, but she didn’t agree. 我把这个想法跟妈妈提起过,但是她不同意。 5. Yes, but she refused to listen.是的,但是她拒绝听。 refuse动词,意为“拒绝”,refuse to do sth.意为“拒绝做某事”,动词不定式短语作宾语。 She refused to answer our question.她拒绝回答我们的问题。 【拓展】常接动词不定式(短语)作宾语的动词有: want, refuse, forget, remember, need, try, learn, hope, decide, begin, start, promise等。 6.
