主语+谓语+ that/whether/ if +宾语从句概念:在句子中起_______作用的句子叫宾语从句。She says (that) she wrks frm Mnday t Friday. He fund that the mn was s bright and rund.
当宾语从句是陈述句时,用that引导,that无词义,在从句中不充当成分,在口语和非正式文体中常常省略。He said (that) he missed us very much.
当宾语从句的语义相当于一个一般疑问句时,常用 if/whether引导,表示“_______”,二者可以换用。if/ whether在句中不充当句子成分,但不能省略。The fisherman wants t knw whether/if it will rain.渔民想知道是否会下雨。
注意:只能用 whether不能用 if 的情况
1. 当r nt 紧随连词之后时。如: I dn't knw whether r nt he will cme n time. 我不知道他能否按时来。 2. 从句用作介词宾语时。如: I am interested in whether he jined the army. 我对他是否入伍很感兴趣。 3. 在带t的动词不定式前。如: She desn't knw whether t g t the cinema r t watch TV at hme. 她不知道是去看电影还是在家看电视。 4. 当宾语从句移至句首表强调时。如: Whether this is true r nt, I'm nt sure. 这是否真实,我不敢肯定。
◆ 宾语从句的谓语动词是否定形式时,只能用if。I want t knw if he wn’t cme here tmrrw. ◆ if 可以引导条件状语从句,意为“假如;如果”,whether 没有此用法。If he ges n a field trip tmrrw, I’ll call yu.如果他明天要去实地考察,我就给你打电话。
注意:只能用 if不能用whether 的情况
无论主句是陈述句还是疑问句,宾语从句都要用_________。He says that he will learn English hardCuld yu please tell me hw I can get t the cinema?
当主句的谓语动词是一般现在时,其宾语从句的时态可以是任何适当的时态。所以,宾语从句的时态应根据实际情况而定。eg.She says (that) she has never been t Munt Emei. 她说她从来没有去过峨嵋山。2)当主句的谓语动词的时态是一般过去时的时候,其宾语从句的时态一般要用任一适当的过去时态。eg.He said there were n classes yesterday afternn. 他说昨天下午没有课。He said (that) he was ging t take care f the baby. 他说他会去照看这个婴儿。
当宾语从句表示的是一个客观真理或者事实真理时,即使主句是过去时,从句也用一般现在时态。 例句:The teacher tld his class that light travels faster than sund.
