专题13 频度副词和连词考点1：频度副词一、按频率大小排列顺序如下： always（100%）>usually（80%）>often（60%）>sometimes（40%）>seldom（20%）>hardly(5%)> never（0%） 二、频度副词的位置 1. 在be动词之后。如： She is sometimes very busy. 她有时很忙。 2. 在第一个动词或情态动词之后。如： I will never forget the first time I met you. 我将永远忘不了和你的第一次见面。 3. 在实义动词之前。如： We often go there. 我们常去那儿。 4. sometimes也可放在句首、句中或句末，often也可放在句末。如： Sometimes she writes to me. 她有时候给我写信。 She writes to me often. 她经常给我写信。  三、用法 1. always与进行时连用时，并不强调动作正在进行，而是表示赞叹、厌烦等情绪。如： He is always thinking of others. 他总是想着别人。（赞叹） She is always asking silly questions. 她老是问些愚蠢的问题。（厌烦） 2. 对这些频度副词提问时，用how often。如： I write to my brother sometimes. How often do you write to your brother? 考点2：连词连词是用来连接单词与单词，短语与短语，以及句子与句子的词。连词主要分为并列连词和从属连词。考点一：并列连词并列连词用来连接具有并列关系的词、短语或句子。1.表示并列成分的词有：and，both … and，not only … but also，neither … nor, as well as如：Not only Tom but also Mary is busy. You’d better play with others.＝Both Tom and Mary are busy. You’d better play with others. 汤姆和玛丽都忙，你最好和其他人玩。2.表示选择的词有：or，either … or如：If you finish your homework, you can either watch TV or listen to music.你如果做完作业了，可以看电视或听音乐。3.表示转折关系的词有：but，yet，while，however如：I like oranges, while my sister doesn’t. 我喜欢橙子，而我妹妹不喜欢。4.表示因果关系的词：so如：Mr. Wang knows little English, so he can’t understand the instructions on the bottle of the pills.王先生几乎不懂英语，所以他看不懂药瓶上的说明。 考点二：从属连词从属连词用来连接从句(宾语从句、状语从句、定语从句)的连词。1.引导时间状语从句的词有：when，while，after，before，as soon as，not … until，since，as，till / until如：They didn’t leave until the rain stopped.他们直到雨停了才离开。2.引导条件状语从句的词有：if，unless，as long as如：If you don’t study hard, you won’t pass the exam.＝Unless you study hard, you won’t pass the exam.如果你不努力学习，你就不能通过考试。3. 引导原因状语从句的词有：because，since，for，asbecause(因为)，表示直接原因，回答why的提问。since(由于，既然)，表示对方已经知道的、既成事实的理由，语气较弱。如：Since you have a bad cold, why not go to see a doctor? 既然你感冒了，为什么不去看医生?as(由于，鉴于)，从句说明原因，主句说明结果。如：As it was cold, you’d better put on your coat. 由于天气冷，你最好穿上外套。for(因为)，表示补充或说明的原因，只能放在主句后表示原因和理由的分句。如：She won’t go to the cinema with us tonight, for she has seen the film.   她今晚不会和我们去看电影，因为那场电影她已经看过了。4.引导目的状语从句的词有：so that，in order that如：Jim sat in front so that he could hear the teacher clearly. 吉姆坐在前面以便能听得清楚老师说的话。5. 引导结果状语从句的词有：so＋形容词 / 副词＋that …；such＋(a / an)＋形容词＋名词＋that …注意：当名词前面有many，much，few，little 修饰时，则用“so”，不用 “such” 。如：Tom is so clever that he learns Chinese quickly. 汤姆如此聪明以至于他中文学得很快。He has so many friends that he never feels lonely. 他有如此多的朋友以至于从不感到孤单。6.引导让步状语从句的词有：though / although，even if / though，however，no matter who / what / when / where如：Though he doesn’t feel well, he is still working. 虽然他不舒服，但仍坚持工作。注意：because 与 so，though，although或but不能同时出现在一个句子里。7.引导比较状语从句的词有：as … as，not as / so … as，than如：Jim is as tall as his father.  吉姆与他父亲一样高。 注意：在as soon as，when，before，after，not … until，if，unless等引导的主从复合句中，当主句是一般将来时态的时候，从句要用一般现在时。如：I will go hiking if it is sunny tomorrow. 如果明天天晴，我将去远足。 频度副词和连词精练精析：1．My mother ________ at five o’clock.A．usually gets B．usually gets upC．gets up usually D．get usually up2．Her parents _____ at eight in the morning.A．often sing B．sings usually C．sing often D．usually sings3．My father usually ________ to work.A．drive B．drives C．drove D．is driving4．—________ do you go to the movies?—Hardly ever.A．How often B．How old C．How many D．How much5．________ say that English is too difficult for us to learn.
