The Starry Night was painted in June 1889 when Vincent van Ggh was staying at a hme fr the mentally ill.
paint v. 把……描绘成painting n. 绘画，油画painter n. 画家 stay at：指待在某个特定的地方 e.g. I had t pstpne ideas f a career and stay at hme.stay in：待在随意某个地方e.g. Stay in bed extra late r get up specially early.

Van Ggh painted what he saw frm his windw—the night sky with cluds, stars and a mn.
梵高用云彩、星星和月亮描绘了他从窗户看到的夜空。
