◆Step 1 Leading in 1a Guide the students to look at the balloons(见课件);learn the vocabulary to express the colors;match the words with the colors and finish 1a. ◆Step 2 Listen and repeat 1b 1.Students listen to the recording for the first time,and say the names of the objects or animals described in the dialogue. 2.Students listen to the recording for the second time,and say the colors of the objects or animals described in the dialogue. 3.Students listen to the recording for the third time,and read after the tape and imitate the pronunciation and intonation.Pay special attention to the pronunciation of the key words.
◆Step 3 Practice 1c 1.Write the target sentence pattern “—What color is it? —It’s...” on the blackboard. 2.Set an example how to practice the dialogue by asking and answering questions about any thing in the picture. 3.Ask students to practice making new dialogues with different colors around them in pairs. 4.Let 4-5 pairs of students show their dialogues to the whole class. ◆Step 4 Listen and color the things 2a 1.The teacher asks “What’s this in English?” one by one,pointing at the objects in the picture.Students answer them together. 2.Students listen to the tape and grasp the key words for color. 3.Students listen to the tape again and color the things in 2a. 4.Students check the answers in pairs.Then the teacher asks a student to show the colors he painted to the class. |
◆Step 5 Listen and write 2b 1.Students listen to the tape again and complete the sentences in 2b. 可以对陈述物品颜色的句型稍作解释,因为在句式上它与中文区别不大,学生不难理解。但需要让学生感知定冠词the的使用,说明这里谈到的key,ruler,cup是特指上个录音中提到的,表示“那个”,注意与不定冠词相区分,还应提醒学生be动词的存在。 2.Check the answers together. 3.Let students read after the tape.Correct their pronunciation. 4.Students practice the conversation in pairs. ◆Step 6 Listen and repeat 2c 1.Let students look at the vowel-letter combinations and words in the table. 2.Students listen to the tape and say out ea/iː/,ar/ɑː/,ir/ʒː/. 3.Students listen to the tape again and read after it. 4.Students read the words by themselves. ◆Step 7 Read 2d 1.Let students read the vowel-letter combination “ea”,and then read the words “read,please” in column 1. 2.Guide students to try to read the words “sea,clean” in column 2. 3.The words containing “ar” and “ir” are treated in the same way. ◆Step 8 Listen 3a 1.Let students look at the pictures in 3a and say out the English names of the things in the pictures.Then let them read the words in 3a. 2.Students listen to the tape and pay attention to the names and the colors of the things.Then they match the things with the words. 3.Check the answers together. ◆Step 9 Practice 3b 1.Let students practice the conversation using the things in 3a.

B:It’s... 2.Let 2-3 groups of students show their dialogues to the whole class. ◆Step 10 Listen and write 3c 1.Lead students to review the pronunciation about “ea,ar,ir” in words. 2.Students listen to the tape and fill in the missing letter combinations “ea,ar,ir”.Check the answers together. 3.Students read the words loudly. ◆Step 11 Listen and read 3d 1.Let students try to read the contents in 3d. 2.Students listen to the tape and read after it. 3.Students practice in different ways,for example,group competition,etc. ◆Step 12 Homework 1.Learn the new words of this unit by heart. 2.Make a conversation about the colors of the things around you. 【板书设计】
