设计说明 本单元以培养学生的读写能力为主,兼顾听说,并包括词汇、语法学习活动,教授学生在实际的情景中理解一般过去时和规则动词的构成及应用。通过写作的设置,让学生均衡发展语言技能,进而发展语用能力。 教学目标 通过本单元的教学,让学生达成以下目标: 1.知识目标: 掌握单词和短语:either, piece, in pieces, asleep, return, cry, at first, point, point at, shout, jump, without, part。 2.能力目标: (1)能够理解Goldilocks and the Three Bears的故事; (2)能够运用规则动词的一般过去式复述故事; (3)能够运用一些连词描述事情发生的顺序。 3.情感目标: 通过阅读英语童话故事,提高学习英语的兴趣,感受英语学习的乐趣。 重点难点 重点:正确书写规则动词的过去式并能灵活使用。 难点:恰当运用一般过去时向他人讲述故事。 教学准备 PPT课件;有关Goldilocks and the Three Bears的图片;活动2的录音。 授课时数 2课时 教学过程 Step 1 Retelling game 1. Show some pictures and give some hints about Goldilocks and the Three Bears. And ask the students to retell the story in groups. Once upon a time, there was a girl called Goldilocks. One day,…

Read the next part of the story and number the pictures in the correct order in Activity 2. 2. Check the answers: Answers: a.2 b.4 c.5 d.1 e.3 Step 4 Careful reading 1. Read Paras. 1 &2 and check () the true sentences. (1)Goldilocks liked the big chair. (2)Goldilocks liked the small bed. (3)Very soon Goldilocks was asleep on the big bed. 2. Check the answers: Answers: (2) 3. Read Paras. 3-5 and answer the questions. (1)Why did Baby Bear cry? (2)What did Baby Bear do when he noticed Goldilocks? (3)What did Goldilocks do when she noticed the Three Bears? 4.Check the answers: Answers: (1)Because there was nothing in his bowl and his chair was in pieces. (2)He pointed at the little girl in his bed and shouted. (3)She jumped out of bed and hurried out of the house without her basket. 5. Play the recording to correct the students’ pronunciation. Step 5 Language points 1. Then she tried the middle chair. 然后,她试了试那把中等大小的椅子。 try在此处作及物动词,意为“尝试”。 try的第三人称单数形式是tries, 过去式是tried。 try to do sth. 设法/努力做某事 try doing sth. 试着做某事 She tried the shoes, but they didn’t fit her. 她试了这双鞋,但是不合脚。 Why not try going there by boat? 为什么不尝试乘船去那里呢? 2. It was not comfortable either. 它也不舒服。 either在此处用作副词,意为“也”,通常用于否定句的句末。 I don’t like the red shirt and I don’t like the green one either. 我不喜欢这件红衬衫,也不喜欢那件绿衬衫。 【拓展】either用作代词,意为“(两者之中)任一、任何一个”。在句中可作主语和宾语,作主语时,谓语动词用单数形式。 Either (of the books) is popular with the students. (两本书)随便哪一本都受到学生们的欢迎。 3. Very soon, she was asleep in it.她很快在上面睡着了。 asleep 形容词,意为“睡着的”,习惯上只用作表语,不用于修饰名词。 The girl is asleep. 这个女孩睡着了。 Look at the asleep girl. (误) Look at the sleeping girl. (正) 瞧这个正在睡觉的女孩。 4. The Three Bears returned. 三只熊回来了。 return 作动词,意为 “返回,回来(去)”。return to…=go/ come back to…回到某地。 【注意】其后接地点副词时,地点副词前不加介词to。 She returned home at once after work.她下班后马上回家。 【拓展】return作动词还可意为“归还 (某物) ”。 常用短语:return sth. to sb. =give sth. back to sb. We must return the books to the library in a week. 我们必须在一周内把书还给图书馆。 5. Baby Bear cried, “There's nothing in my bowl and my chair is in pieces!”小熊哭道:“我的碗空了,椅子也散架了!” (1) cry 作动词,意为“哭,喊叫”,其过去式和过去分词均为cried。 Don’t cry, your mother is coming! 别哭,你妈妈来了! (2) in pieces破碎;piece 作名词,意为“部件,碎片”。 I threw a ball at the window, and it was in pieces. 我朝窗子扔了一个球,窗户碎了。 6. Then Baby Bear pointed at the little girl in his bed and shouted…后来,小熊指着它床上的小女孩喊了起来…… point在此处用作动词,意为“指向”。 【拓展】①point out指出,使注意 The teacher pointed out the mistake. 老师指出了这个错误。 ②point to指向 He pointed to the door and there I saw a girl smiling at me. 他指向门,我看见那里有一位姑娘朝我微笑。 ③point at指着 The teacher pointed at the map.老师指着地图。 7. There’s the bad girl! 那个坏女孩在那儿! 此句为倒装句,其正常语序为:The bad girl is there! 当表地点或方位的副词、介词或介词短语放在句首时,若主语为名词,则句子常采用主谓完全倒装语序;但当主语为人称代词时,主谓不倒装。 —Look! There comes the bus! 看!公共汽车来了! —Oh, there it comes. 噢,它来了。 Step 6 Practice 1. Let the students complete the passage with the correct form of the words from the box in Activity 5. 2. Check the answers together. Answers: (1)pieces (2)either (3)asleep (4)returned (5)pointed (6)shouted (7)without 3. Get the students to read the passage for a few minutes. Step 7 Writing 1. Ask one student to read the sentences in Activity 6 in class. 1. First, she tried the big chair. 2. Then she tried the middle chair. 3. Finally, she tried the small chair. 2. Let the students work in groups and write some new sentences using first, next/then, and finally. 3. Divide the students into several groups. Let them imagine what will happen after Goldilocks leaves and write down their ideas. 4. Ask some groups to share their ideas in class. Step 8 Homework 1. Retell the story Goldilocks and the Three Bears. 2. Write your favourite story. 板书设计
