Befre the earthquake, the water in the village wells rse and fell. Deep cracks appeared in their walls. Animals were acting strangely. I think these were warning signs as they dn’t usually happen. Smething strange must be happening undergrund. Smetimes, animals are mre sensitive t sme cming dangers.
The writer means that the city began t functin again, because the earthquake had stpped peple and supplies mving abut, and s it was like the city culdn’t breathe.
Peple wh have suffered an earthquake need quick access t basic things such as water and fd, because they cannt get them easily. They als need medical care, nt just fr injuries, but t prtect against disease and ther prblems that happen after the earthquake. Last but nt least, these peple als need psychlgical care and help.

I think the revival f Tangshan was helped by the strng supprt f the gvernment and the peple wh all wrked in unity t rebuild the city even better than befre.
Wenchuan cunty and sme ther twns near Wenchuan have had similar experiences. These twns were built up frm the ruins. As well as develping better ways t detect and prepare fr these disasters, we have learnt that acting quickly and in unity is the best way t get ver such disasters. The strng supprt frm the gvernment and peple arund is als very imprtant.
