Does he think the food is really delicious?  Ask them to think them over and tell them different countries have different customs, in food, clothes, lifestyle and time… Step 2 lead-in1. Tell them today I invite two students from different countries, they have different attitude towards time. Let’s see where they are from and what differences they have in time.2. Introduce the position of the two countries and our China. Our new friends will tell us some more information about their motherland. Step 3  Pre-reading Words challenge: Match the words or phrases to the meaning according to the sentences. Check your memory: Try to say the words when the wheel stops to check their memory of these words. Step 4  While-reading1 . Fast-reading:  In which country is it OK to be 15 minutes late for dinner? 2. Find out more information about other foreign countries. 观看视频并思考这个视频所反应的问题是什么。         认识今天的两位来自外国的朋友，并想了解他们对时间会有什么不同。      完成单词的配对练习并努力记住这些单词和词组考验自己的记忆力。        根据老师的阅读策略的指导，按照快速阅读，细读，精读的步骤一步步的完成阅读任务。                             观看关于瑞士和哥伦比亚的微课介绍了解更多的关于这两个国家的文化。小组讨论在中国大家对时间，朋友的拜访和做计划这几个方面的习惯并做报告。      总结这节课他们的收获并尝试着去发现更多国家之间不同的文化差异。 通过一个很有意思的中西方文化差异的视频开始本堂课，让学生们思考各国文化的不同带来的误解。引导学生说出不同国家有不同的风俗和习惯。为后面的课文做铺垫。    由各种风俗的不同引到今天来的两位朋友，他们对时间也有不同的态度并了解基本的关于瑞士和哥伦比亚的地理位置。     因为这篇文章的生词还是比较多的，所以还是应该在阅读活动之前让孩子们先熟悉下这些生词和短语以便于后面阅读的开展。同义词和词组的使用让大家学会用英语解释英语。    阅读的过程是本课的重点，本文先是快速阅读找出在哪个国家可以晚餐迟到1分钟，这个问题比较简单，大致浏览课文就可以找到答案。由于本文是由两个小短文组成的，所以细读的时候就按照每个短文设置阅读任务来对文章进行细读。两读之后从三个方面对文章内容进行对比，学生对两个国家的文化差异印象会更加深刻。填空的设计为了让学生们学会用关键词对文章内容进行整合，并加强他们的口语表达能力。             读后的设计是希望在学生们读完课文之后能够通过微课的介绍对着两个国家有个更深的认识和了解并激发他们想了解更多外国文化的乐趣。讨论的设计主要在于文化的迁移和学生表达能力的提高。      总结本节课的内容并鼓励他们好好学英语去发现外面世界更多的美好和不同。           教学反思
