难点名称	在反复阅读中熟悉一般过去时态并提升阅读能力，渗透写作方法，从而做到以读促写。
难点分析	从知识角度分析为什么难		阅读是语言学习中的一个难点，受词汇量和句式理解等多方面的影响，一般过去时态中动词变化大且多，一般过去时态的日记阅读难度更大。
	从学生角度分析为什么难		七年级的学生刚刚接触一般过去时态，动词形式变化大，学生理解和记忆不到位，部分学生的词汇量较小影响理解文章。
难点教学方法	通过读前看图猜词猜句活动，了解阅读中的部分内容通过快速查找过去式，问答对话等阅读形式降低阅读难度通过思维导图，表格找到文章更多信息，巩固阅读效果通过读后讲解写日记格式为最后写学生日记做铺垫
教学环节	教学过程
导入	Step 1. Greeting and review Chant and review the past form of verbs. Step 2. Leading in and Pre-reading Look at a picture and guess what the girl is doing. She is writing a diary. They visited a science museum and saw some robots. They took the train there. The two persons are Helen and Jim. 【The purpose of this part is to know something about the school trip and let Ss understand the key sentences of the passage .】
知识讲解（难点突破）	Step 3. While -reading 1) Task 1 Quick eyes Read the diaries and find the phrases with V-ed. 2) Task 2 Ask and answer Was your school trip interesting, Helen? Yes,it was. Did you visit a science museum? Yes, I did. How did you get there? I took the train there. When did you go on a school trip? On June 15th. 3) Task 3 Mind map 4) Task 4 Further reading Read the two diaries again and finish 2c. 【The purpose of this part is task-based teaching method is used here to develop Ss’ ability of reading and ability of cooperation will be well trained.】 Step 4. Teaching Evaluation Why do they have different feelings about the school trip? It’s not the lack of beauty in life, but the lack of the eyes to find the beauty. 生活中并不缺少美，而是缺少发现美的眼睛。 Have a positive life attitude（积极的生活态度）, and everything is beautiful. 【The purpose of this part is to develop their moral objectives. We should have a positive life attitude in our life.】 Step 5. How to write a diary Date, the body, the past tense, the first person 【The purpose of this part is to make sure students can write a diary correctly. It’s helpful for students to use what they learnt in daily life.】
课堂练习（难点巩固）	Step 6 Share time: Post-reading Work in group of four to make up a dairy with some key words. (用关键词编写日记） Step 7 Show time Each group choose one student to speak out the dairy. 【The purpose of this part is to make sure students can use what they have learned to write a diary.】 Step 8. Summary Today, we have learned how to write a diary. Pay attention to use the past tense and the first person.
小结	本课是一堂阅读课，教学设计思路清晰，各环节联系紧密，教学目标完成较好。教师运用多种教学方法，且根据不同的内容制定不同的方法，mind map 的使用使学生参与课堂的热情更加高涨，充分体现以学生为主体的教学理念。
