    Gd mrning,dear judges and teachers,
    It’s my great hnr t stand here and t present my ideas abut this lessn. Yu may have nticed that during this lessn, the children HAD sme fun, they HAD different activities, but mst imprtantly they HAD their language practiced in every task. Nw i’d like t d a little explainatin with the help f tday’s key structure, First, next, then and finally.
    First, English teaching shuld be fun, but it’s nt nly abut fun. During this lessn, we sang sngs, we watched a magic shw and we play games. I think they are fun, and in this way, WE arused their interest in learning English, WE engaged them in learning and WE helped them learn t use the target in real situatins. S it’s nt just abut fun, but abut learning in playing.
    Next,English teaching is abut activities, but it’s nt nly abut activities. It’s abut cperative abilities and cultural awareness and etc. As we have seen, several grup activities are adpted in this lessn, such as helping Tim t say better, discussing hw t make a card and telling a different stry. These are designed t invlve students in practical and cperative learning. Besides, the ss get t knw that mre abut Christmas and that, lve is what Christmas truly abut thrugh the sng, the pem and the stry.
    Then, English teaching is abut text bks, but it’s nt nly just abut text bks. As fr this lessn, we didn’t whly fllw the text in Grammar Time, but we ADAPT this part accrding t the functin f a lessn fr the secnd perid, and accrdning t the need f the students and their interest.
    Finally, English teaching is abut language, but it’s nt nly abut language, it’s abut thinking skills. During the lessn, we aim t immense them in prblem-slving activities, fr example, Tim’s intrductin, cards making, stry telling In the curse ,students can first understand why t use the fur wrds ,that is , the functin f the key structure; then with this in mind ,the students learn t speak rderly and d rderly and begin t develp the ability f thinking rderly. But that is nt enugh , we expect students t think and use the language flexibly and creatively,therefre ,finally , we have students share their different prcedures f making cards and make up creative stry and tell the stry rderly.

    That’s the main idea abut my teaching design, thank yu fr listening.
