He is not only our monitor but also the captain of our school football team. I did not know he was friendly and helpful until we became friends. When I was new in my class, no one knew me. I felt very sad and lonely so I thought my school life was quite boring. One day, Tony sat down beside me and introduced himself. Then he told me a joke and we laughed and talked happily together. In order to help me make more friends, he invited me to join in the football team and started to help me play it. When I felt tired and wanted to give up, he always cheered me up and encouraged me to keep going. Now I am one of the key players in our team and I get along well with all of my classmates. My school life is interesting and colourful because of my friends. Tony taught me a lot and I’m really touched by his help. I should pass on kindness and warmth to others as well.
