形容词和副词是历年高考的必考点，是考生做好英语语法填空题和短文改错题必须要掌握的知识点。语法填空题对形容词和副词的考查主要是形容词作定语或表语、形容词和副词的比较级或最高级、形容词和副词的词性转化等。短文改错题对形容词和副词的考查主要是形容词和副词之间的错用，以及形容词之间、副词之间的错用；原级、比较级和最高级之间的误用。
授课对象：高三（4）班。高三（4）班是艺术班，学生的英语基础不扎实，对于语法知识概念不清晰。经过一个多学期的外出学习，大部分学生对于基础知识已经遗忘，形容词和副词的语法功能和在句子中的位置意识薄弱。对于形容词和副词在语法填空和短文改错这两道易得分题中失分较多。但学生学习英语的热情高涨，期待在高考笔试中再下一城。
1. 能在篇章中辨认形容词和副词，并判断其在句子中的成分/位置；2.能在篇章中根据句子成分/空格位置确定/判断使用形容词或副词。
教学重点：形容词副词在句子所做的成分和在句子中的位置。教学难点：形容词作状语；系表结构加副词。
