一、导入
Review the last lesson: Show some pictures about weekend activities and talk about how often they do these things.
二、目标
- 通过语言活动学会使用every day, once a week, twice a month等表达方式,能够运用“How often ...?”询问频率及做出回答。
- 熟读听力材料并role-play.
三、先学
1. ① Students listen to the recording and complete 2a;
② Ask some students to share the answer;
③ The teacher checks the answer with the students.

② Ask some students to share the answer;
③ The teacher checks the answer with the students.
四、后教
- Translate the listening material and lead the students to read it for several times;
- Explain the important and difficult points to the class.
- Language points
(1) — How often do you watch TV? 你多久看一次电视?
— Twice a week. 每周两次。
how often 多久一次。How often + 助动词 do(does 或 did) + 主语 + do sth.? 用来询问(主语)多久进行一次某个(活动)的频率;回答时可用once / twice / three times a day, sometimes, never, often等。
辨析how often、how long、how soon、how many times
① how often “多久一次”,用来提问频率。
② how long “(延续)多长时间”,用来询问时间的长短;也可询问某物的长度。回答时用for 或since引导的时间状语。
③ how soon “还要多久(时间)才……”,一 般用将来时态,回答用in引导的时间状语。
④ how many times “多少次”,用于询问次数,回答用once, three times等。
(2)twice a week “一周两次”。once表示“一次”,
twice表示“两次”,“三次及以上”要用“基数词+times”表示。three times 三次
