导学内容
Step1. Greetings and review
可以做动作,让学生猜词语,如hungry, thirsty, sleep, draw 等。然后出示卡片,复习这些词。
Step2. Leading-in and listen
Show some pictures to the class by ppt.(幻灯片)and present the sentences:
What is he doing? He is running./ What is she doing? She is singing./ What are they doing? They’re playing.
(To the class) What are you doing?
C: We’re looking and listening.
T: Good! Then do you know “ What are Jenny, Li Ming and Danny doing on the train?” What are they doing?
( Write the question on the blackboard)领学生多读几遍。
Ok, let’s listen and find the answer. What are Jenny, Li Ming and Danny doing on the train?”
播放录音,第一遍听,第二遍跟读,之后让学生回答问题。What are Jenny, Li Ming and Danny doing on the train?”

Read the text and fill the chart
检查学生的完成情况,进行指导。
Step4. Practice
1. Do “ask and answer” in pairs like this:(利用书中的图画。)
What’s the baby doing? – He is___ing.
2. Let’s do it!
T: Now, look at me. What is in my hand? Ss:转盘
T: We call it spin.
T: Now let’s play a game. Do it in group of four. I give you 1 minute. You make sentences using the words on the spin. For example, You are swimming(需要教师手指向转盘,开始时可以领读,学生会自然而然跟读)
T: Are you ready? Let’s go.
T: How many sentences did you make?
(设计意图:通过课文中的转盘游戏,利用竞赛的方式来完成现在进行时的各种练习,既能抓住学生注意力,又能进行对此进行大量的练习,且活跃了课堂氛围。
3. Listen and repeat.
播放录音,第一遍听,第二遍跟读,之后让学生回答问题。
T: Here is a little point. What does the little point mean? Ss: 重音!
T: Ok, who can stand up and read the tip for us? (找学生大声读出关于重音的规律: 双音节单词一般在第一个音节重读)
T:第一个音节重读就是读的更重一点。Ok , let’s read together!
