Lesson 9 The Palace Museum

一、     教学目标

        知识与技能目标：

（1）掌握词汇及短语：take，take a picture，be

（2）学生能用所学语言介绍故宫。

        学习策略目标：

（1）积极与同学合作，共同完成任务；

（2）通过评价反思，发展自我调控策略；

（3）养成听录音和根据句子的习惯。

        情感态度目标：

（1）提高学习英语的兴趣，乐于阅读。

（2）        增强孩子们对文物保护的意识。

二、教学难点

初步了解祈使句以及be动词的用法。

三、教学准备

多媒体、故宫图片，作文纸，故宫的介绍（孩子们需提前做前参），导游帽和导游旗。

三、教学步骤

StepI Class Opening （2 minutes）

1. Greeting

T: Hello, everyone! How are you today?

Ss: I’m fine, thanks.

2. Groups

T: Today we have two groups. One is the boy group. One is the girl group. Then let’s have a PK. OK?

Ss: OK.

(设计思路：简单的问候，小组比赛形式激发孩子的学习兴趣。

评价方案：教师评价：全班分为两组，根据课上的表现，教师适时给予口头评价和加分评价。实物评价方式是为表现好的那一组的树上加所小房子。最后评比哪一组得到的房子数目多。)

Step II New Concepts

1.Introduction （3minutes）（由电视剧图片导入新授）

(1) Free talk:

T: How are you today? / Do you love to travel?/ Where did go last winter vocation? Have you ever been to Beijing? I know someone who has ever been to Beijing. Let’s

have a look!

Say together: (Bird’s Nest, the Great Wall, the Palace Museum, Tian’an men Square, Water cube)

(2) Lead in

1. Boys and girls, Beijing is a big city. It’s beautiful. There are many interesting places in Beijing.

T: Do you want to go? Oh, Here is a good news. Danny and Jenny were invited to travel to Beijing. Let’s visit the palace with them, Ok?

2.Text（8minutes）（听录音，回答问题，加深对课文理解。)

T: Li Ming, Jenny and Danny went to the Palace Museum. Now let’s listen and underline what else do you know about the Palace Museum.

Ss: The palace is red and yellow. It is beautiful. (板书关键词)

It’s about six hundred years old. It’s old.(板书关键词)

We can see some old chairs and tables inside.(板书关键词)

T: You are great. Think about the experience of visiting the Palace Museum. How do you feel?

Ss: I feel excited. (学生联想自己的故宫经历，用英语表达自己的感受。)

T: How about Danny?

Ss: Danny feels excited, too.

T: Yes, Danny feels excited. What happened to Danny?

Ss: Danny fell and hurt his tail.

T: Yes, when he took a picture, he fell. Do you know what means “take a picture”? (板书)Show me.

Ss: (Do the action of “take a picture”.)

T: What else do you know about “take”? Make a phrase for us. (随后PPT展示“take a bus/take two apples”.）

Ss: (Say something about “take”.)

(设计思路：如果孩子们说不出take的其他意思，老师可以给予一些提示进行拓展take的另外两个意思。)

Step III Consolidation（14minutes）

1. Talk and write. (播放录音，学生模仿跟读，同桌两人合作进行问答，独自完成答题。)

T: Now let’s listen and repeat. Then finish Part 2.: Talk in pairs. Then write. （Check in class.）

Ss: Listen and repeat. Talk and write. Check the answers.

T: Danny hurts his tail. What do Li Ming and Jenny say?

Ss: They say “Be careful!”.

T: Yes, be careful when we take a picture.（板书）This is an imperative sentence.（PPT展示并讲解）

2. Sing a song.

T: Now let’s sing a song “Let’s take a picture, you and me.”

Ss: OK.

(1)放录音，学生试着唱歌曲。老师带领学生做动作，take a picture，say cheese，make a funny face。

(2)反复做动作，和老师一起边说边做。

(3)再次放录音，让学生跟唱。

（设计思路：英文歌曲中的一些内容包含了本节课的所学内容，巩固了所学知识同时也促进学生学习的兴趣。）

3. To be a guide. (用导游的身份介绍故宫。)

学生们拿出自己提前做好的前参。(关于故宫的资料)

T: If you were a guide, introduce the Palace Museum.

Ss: Write and show.（带上导游帽和导游旗，学生在展示的时候老师需在板书上对故宫进行更多知识的补充书写）

（设计思路：语言的学习的最终目的是为了用，学生以导游的身份介绍故宫，既巩固了今天所学的知识，同时可以拓展关于故宫更多的介绍，达到学以致用。）

Step Ⅳ Class Closing （3minutes）

1.自然过渡，引出本课的情感目标，保护文物。

T: Today we know something about the Palace Museum. Do you like it? Now look. If you like it, don’t destroy it. We should protect our cultural relic.

2. Summary

T: What did we learn today?

Ss: ......

T: Who is the winner? Clap your hands.

3. Homework

(1). Listen and repeat the text for ten minutes.

(2). Make a poster about the Palace Museum.（做一张关于故宫的海报）
