Unit 4 What’s the best movie theater?Section A (1a~1c)一、导入Ask students a question: Have you ever been to the movie theaters? .二、目标Students learn some new words and phrases, such as comfortable, screen, best, ticket etc.学生初步了解形容词副词的最高级形式;   Students can read the listening material and role-play;三、先学1. ① Students complete activity 1a;② Ask some students to share the answer;③ The teacher checks the answer with the students.2. ① Students listen to the recording and match the statements with the movie theaters;② Ask some students to share the answer;③ The teacher checks the answer with the students.四、后教Translate the listening material and lead the students to read it for several times;Explain the important and difficult points to the class.Language points(1)  comfortable /'kʌmfə(r)təbl/ adj. 使人舒服的；舒适的comfortable 作形容词，可在句中作定语或表语。comfortable 是多音节形容词， 其比较级是more comfortable，最高级是most comfortable。(2)  It has the biggest screens. 它有最大的屏幕。biggest是big的最高级形式。形容词的最高级用于三者或三者以上（人或物）的比较，最高级的前面一般要加定冠词the，后面常接of/ in短语来说明比较的范围。它是所有苹果中最大的一个。  It’s the biggest apple of all. (3)  close to home close /kləʊs/ adj. ( 在空间、时间上) 接近e.g. My home is very close to our school.我家离我们学校很近。close的比较级是closer，最高级是closest。close 在此处意思是“(在空间、时间上) 接近”，反义词是far。常用搭配be close to “离……很近”，相当于be near。五、强化记忆Students practice the conversation and role-play;Students remember the important sentences.六、当堂检测汉译英：(1)  它有最大的屏幕。It has the biggest screen.(2)  它是这附近最受欢迎的。It’s the most popular near here.(3)  它有最舒适的座椅。It has the most comfortable seats.(4)  它离家最近。It’s the closest to home.
