Space exploration has always been the province of _____31_____: The human imagination readily soars where human ingenuity (创造力) struggles to follow. A Voyage to the Moon, often cited as the first science fiction story, was written by Cyrano de Bergerac in 1649. Cyrano was dead and buried for a good three centuries _____32_____the first manned rockets started to fly.
In 1961, when President Kennedy declared that America would send a man to the moon by the decade’s end, those words, too, had a _____33_____ quality. They resonated (共鸣) with optimism and _____34_____ in much the same way as the most famous _____35_____ speech of all, delivered by Martin Luther King Jr. two years later. By the end of the decade, both visions had yielded concrete results and _____36_____ American society. _____37_____, in many ways the two dreams ended up _____38_____ each other. The fight for racial and economic equality is intensely pragmatic (讲求实用的) and immediate in its impact. The urge to explore space is just the opposite. It is figuratively and literally otherworldly in its _____39_____.
When the dust settled, the space dreamers lost out. There was no grand _____40_____ to the Apollo missions. The technologically compromised space shuttle program has just come to an end, with no _____41_____. The continuous argument is that _____42_____ are tight, that we have more pressing problems here on Earth. Amid the current concerns about the federal deficit (赤字), reaching toward the stars seems an unnecessary luxury—____43____ saving one-thousandth of a single year’s budget would solve our problems.
But human ingenuity struggles on. NASA is developing a series of robotic probes that will get the most value for the money spent. They will serve as modern Magellans, _____44_____ out the solar system for whatever explorers follow, whether man or machine. On the flip side, companies like Virgin Galactic are plotting a bottom-up assault on the space dream by making it a reality to the public. Private spaceflight could lie within _____45_____ of rich civilians in a few years. Another decade or two and it could _____46_____.
The space dreamers end up benefiting all of us — not just because of the way they expand human knowledge, or because of the ____47____ they produce, but because the two types of dreams support each other. Both Martin Luther King and John Kennedy appealed to the idea that humans can _____48_____ what were once considered great limitations. Today we face seeming challenges in energy, the environment, health care. Tomorrow we will overcome these as well, and the dreamers will deserve a lot of the _____49_____. The deep communication with friends, the determination to ____61____ the work that wore you out: these aren’t ____62____ of late night, but tasks of our daytime selves — ____63____ well-rested minds.
We should be able to let ourselves go to bed early, not when we consider our search for happiness ____64____, but when we relocate (迁移) our longing and seek ____65____ where it can more realistically be found: in the bright and energetic hours of the new day.

This appeal for external aids to help____68____ the addictive habit hints at the crushing hold short videos have on the shiftless majority— many of them are not utterly ____69____ self-control in other circumstances.
Another recent survey of juveniles found 65.6 percent of them have watched short videos, and 20 percent of them just couldn’t stop watching.
For as you click on those seemingly____70____videos, your life will be thrown into a mindless spiral (螺旋)as we eagerly move from one piece to the next, each lasting 20 to 30 seconds, and are shocked, amused, and outraged in rapid____71____.
You never have a chance to get____72____, for you are always curious about what the next piece would be like,____73____more. All that is needed is a slight twitching (抽动) of one of your fingers.

It is shocking to realize that a published video itself would have ____75____ acquired a degree of authenticity and enough to prevent all intentions and the need for checking, even____76____ such basic facts as authorship.

Yes, juvenile-only modes have been____78____for some time, but it is so easy for children to avoid this.____79____ , there is an equal need for a mechanism to prevent adults from becoming addicted, notably by limiting the lime they are allowed to view the videos.
