数词是中考的常考点也是必考点，主要考查基数词、序数词、概数词以及分数的表达。

高频考点一：基数词的用法

1.基数词：表示数量多少的数词。2.序数词：表示顺序的数词

注意：

基数词的用法：用于修饰可数名词，除“1”之外名词都要用复数。

高频考点二：序数词的用法

基数词变序数词口诀:基变序，有规律，

①一般情况直接加-th,如:four---fourth

②一，二，三特殊记，词尾t , d , d .（ one-- first， two-- second， three-- third）

③8去t , 9去e ,ve要用f来代替（five ,twelve 是两兄弟）之后再加-th

eight--eighth， nine-- ninth，five--fifth， twelve→twelfth

④以ty 结尾的整十数，改y为 ie,再加-th.

twenty---twentieth     thirty---thirtieth

forty---fortieth        fifty---fiftieth

sixty---sixtieth       seventy---seventieth

eighty---eightieth     ninety----ninetieth

⑤几百几，几十几也容易，只需个位变为序。

2.序数词的用法

序数词的用法：无论序数词的数字有多大,在数量上都只是“1”，所以序数词只能用于修饰单数可数名词。其前必须加定冠词the, 除非有one’s.即：总有这样的标志。the/one’s+序数词+单数名词

高频考点三：分数、百分数的表达及做主语的用法

分数的表达法：分数由基数词和序数词合成。分子用基数词，分母用序数词。分子是1 时，分母用单数形式；分子大于1时，分母用复数形式。

百分数的表达法：百分数由基数词+percent表示。

分数和百分数跟名词做主语，谓语动词的形式由后面的名词决定。

高频考点四：hundred、thousand、million的用法

   当这些词与具体数字连用时，习惯上用单数，而且也不后接介词of。当这些词不与具体数字连用，而是表示不确定的泛指数时，则不仅要要用复数，而且要后接介词of，然后才能接名词。

高频考点剖析一：基数词的用法

数词是表示数量多少或顺序先后的词,数词可以分为基数词和序数词。

100以内的基数词基数词不难记,找清规律很容易,十二以内词各异,十三数到十九,teen莫忘记。二十、三十……至九十,尾巴要加ty。要说“几十几”,中间“-”别丢弃。

若说几百几十几,百位十位用and。以上用法要记住,用时千万莫大意。

例1：There are ________ months in a year. December is the ________ month of a year.

【解析】考查基数词与序数词。句意：一年中有个月，12月是第个月。第一空后是months，表示个数，用基数词；第二空表示“第十二个月”，用序数词，故选C。

高频考点剖析二：序数词的用法

1.序数词前要加定冠词the,若序数词前有形容词性物主代词或名词所有格时省略the。

Bill is my first pen pal.比尔是我的第一个笔友。

2.序数词前加a/an表示“又一,再一”。

Even though the Browns have three children,they still want a fourth one.

尽管布朗夫妇已有三个孩子,可他们还想再要一个。

高频考点剖析三：分数、百分数的表达及做主语的用法

1.分数的表达

(1)分子用基数词,分母用序数词;如果分子大于1,分母要用复数形式。

1/6 one sixth　3/4 three fourths　4/5 four fifths

(2)在英语中,“四分之一”常表示为a quarter;“四分之三”表示为three quarters;“二分之一”表示为a half。

2.分数的用法

“分数+of+限定词+名词复数”作主语时,谓语动词应用复数形式;

“分数+of+限定词+不可数名词/名词单数”作主语时,谓语动词常用单数形式。

Two fifths of the students are from China in this school.

这所学校五分之二的学生来自中国。

Two thirds of her money was spent on clothes.

她把三分之二的钱花在了衣服上。

典例3—A recent survey shows that 35 out of 45 students in my class will save their phones first in a fire.

高频考点剖析四：有关数词的一些特殊用法：

1.one 和 two除了变序数词first ，second 还可以变成次数once一次,  twice两次

2.序数词在使用时，通常前面要加定冠词the，除非有one's,如果序数词前面有不定冠词a/an时，则表示“再一”，“又一”。

如：I have two apples already, but I want a third apple.

●3.“基数词+more+名词”或“another+基数词+名词”表示在原来的基础上增加的数量。意为“又…”“再…”

如：two more apples=another two apples

●4.“基数词-单数名词”相当于复合形容词，作名词的定语，用于表示时间，距离等。如：two-hour walk=two hours' walk

●5.hundred百,thousand千, million百万. billion十亿等的用法：简单记为：等的用法：简单记为：

①其前没有具体数字时 其后要加-s，要与of连用 ，即“两有”。如： hundreds of

②其前有具体数字时，其后不能加-s，也不能与of连用,即“两无”。如：two hundred

6.基数词也可表示一些编号的顺序，只需将基数词放在单数名词之后，不需要定冠词the，但单词的首字母必须大写。

基数词和序数词的变化规律

两大数词基和序，前表数量后第几。构成先谈基数词，1至12请认真记。

13至19teen结尾齐，ty结尾表示几十。若要表达几十几，几十短横1到9。

One hundred一百记，若表几百几十几。几百and几十几，基数规律上述里。

再把序数谈仔细，第一至三独立记。第四至十九结尾th，第廿到九十有规律。

基数基础y变ieth。第几十几有特例，第几十由基数起，几用序数有道理。

第一百one hundred，若说第一百几十几。One hundred and第几十几。谈此即告一段落。

序有缩式莫忘记，上述须用心体味。
