Step 1: Free talk and revision

1. Greetings:

When’s Children’s Day?

What are you going to do on Children’s Day?

2. What are you going to do this weekend?

Game 1: Good memory

Game 2: Guessing game

Ask one or two students to come to the front and others guess what he/she is going to do/or what you/they are going to do.

Step 2. Culture time

1.When’s your birthday?

Do you often have a birthday party?

Are you going to have a party this year?

2.Shall we take part in his/her party?

3.What are we going to do for the party?

Ss: We are going to bring some gifts (Teach: gift). We are going to the party early/on time.

4. Good! Chinese people usually do these. When you go to a Western party, what should you do? Do you want to know?

Step 3. Cartoon time

1. Bobby’s class is also going to have a party soon. What are they going to do at the party?

Watch the cartoon and fill in the blanks

2. Read the judge
