Step 1 Outside reading time. (2-3 min.) Step 2 Warming up and free talk 1.Greetings T: Good morning/ afternoon, boys and girls. How are you today? Ss: Good morning/ afternoon, Miss… I’m fine. S1: Because the farmer can eat a lot of fruit./ The farmer can play with lots of animals. T: What do you want to be in the future? Ss: I want to be a / an… 3.Let’s enjoy and say. 4.Practice in pairs. Step 2 Sound time 1.Let’s listen and guess: What does she want to be? And what does she want to do? Ask someone to answer. PPT shows the sentences. Listen to the tape and follow it. T: What can you find? 2.Let’s read after the tape Have a competition among the groups. Which group is the first? 3.Let’s try PPT shows the phrases and sentences, Ss try to read them: come in, look at me, all of you, get up, an old book, in front of Did you eat an apple? Don’t walk on the wet floor. What do you want to be? Tip: 朗读时,注意重读、连读和语调,你会读得更优美、更流畅! Step 3 Cartoon time PPT shows the picture of Bobby T: You all have dreams, Bobby and his friends have dreams, too. Do you want to know their dreams? 1.Read the cartoon and match. 2.Read and fill T: To make their dreams come true, what will they do? Let’s read the dialogue and fill in the forms.
Ask some groups to show their forms and talk about it. T: What does Bobby want to be? What should /will he do? S: He wants to be… He should/will… T: How about his friends? 3.Read and complete 4.Read in the roles 5.Work in groups and introduce their dreams according to the following form.
