专题12 定语从句定义定语从句（也称关系从句、形容词性从句），是指一类由关系词引导的从句，因为这类从句的句法功能多是做定语，所以曾被称为定语从句。关系选择先行词是人还是事物；关系词在关系从句中的句法功能在英语中，常见的关系代词及其用法如下表所示： 先行词人物主语who, thatwhich, that宾语who, whom, thatWhich,that1、 指代人的关系代词：who，在从句中多做主语或宾语，做宾语可用whom,也可以省略The girl (whom/who) you just met is Cathy. 此处who在从句中作met的宾语，who/whom/省略 都可以I am going to see a friend who has just come back from the US. 此处who在从句中做has come back的主语，只能填who2、指代物的关系代词：which，在从句中多做主语或宾语，作宾语时可省略。Another big earthquake which was almost as strong as the first one shook Tangshan. 此处which作为从句的主语，替代先行词earthquakePhilosophy is a subject (which) I there anything that I can do for you?有什么需要我帮忙的吗？There’s nothing that can be said about it关于这件事，已没有什么可说的了。Do you mean the one that you bought yesterday?你指的是昨天买的那个吗？2 当先行词被only, any, few, little, no, all, many, much等不定代词修饰时。例如：I have finished reading all the books that I borrowed from the library. 我己经看完了所有从图书馆借来的书。He has learned many English new words that the teacher taught him last week by
