Stress in nuns and verbs
A Talk time
We can use sme tw-syllable wrds as bth nuns and verbs. As nuns, the stress is n the first syllable. As verbs, the stress is n the secnd syllable.
一些双音节的词既可作名词也可作动词。用作名词时，重音在第一个音节上。用作动词时，重音在第二个音节上。
A1 Say these nuns and verbs in pairs. Stress the underlined syllables.

A2 Read this cnversatin alud. Underline the stressed syllable in each f the wrds in italics.
