问题 情境 导入 | Lead-in (4 min) 1) Greeting and look at some pictures of books. 2) Ask them a question: Watch the video and answer the questions? And ask Ss to tick what cities are introduced in the video? | Read the paragraph on page 49 and answer the questions.

教学 过程 | Step 1. While-reading 1) Ask Ss to read the passage and find out what is each city famous for in the world of art? 2) Lead Ss to analyse the structure through the passage. 3) Guide Ss to skim the passage and divide it into three parts. 4) Ask Ss to complete Activity 3 and remind Ss to take notes if necessary. 5) Ask Ss to complete Activity 4.
Step 2 After-reading Raise two questions and ask Ss to have a discussion with their partners. (1) What is the most impressive artwork,building or performance you`ve ever seen? (2)Why did it make such an impression on you? Share your answer with the class.
Step 3 Summary (5 min) 1) Summarize what we’ve learned this class. 2) Enlighten Ss that they should work hard and be confident in their future study.
Step 4 Homework (1 min) It is necessary to ask them to do some homework. I will ask them to read the diary as many as they can and write down their experiences and feelings.
