One f the mst famus Chinese medical treatments is the art f “magic needles”, r Chinese acupuncture. It was develped lng ag, perhaps as early as 2000 BCE. There is evidence that acupuncture dates back t the Stne Age, when stne tlscalled bian were used t press areas f the bdy.

As acupuncture develped, the simple bian stnes were replaced by stne needles. Eventually, metal needles began t appear and tk the place f stne needles.
