根据第三段中“The first grup were asked t sleep nine hurs a night and the secnd grup five hurs a night. The members f the third grup slept fr five hurs n weekdays but rested as lng as they wanted n the weekend.”
根据倒数第三段最后一句“Sleep shrtage causes leptin t drp and ghrelin t rise, s yu’re hungry and eat mre.”
结合第二段内容“A study published in the jurnal Current Bilgy shws that the habit f sleeping in n weekends desn’t fix the damage that has been dne by a lack f sleep during the week. Even wrse, it may damage yur health.”

根据第一段“That's exactly what BinicGym, an advanced wearable neur-stimulatr (神经刺激器), claims t help yu achieve.”(那正是先进的可穿戴神经刺激器Binic Gym声称可以帮助你实现的),可知,that指代上文提的问题,因此推断作者在第1段中提出问题是为了引出本文的主题,从第二段起开始讨论这种设备。故选B 。
    9.
根据第三段的“Crwe says he came up with the idea fr this unique neur-stimulatr ver 16 years ag, when he wuld get int the cld Atlantic cean s he culd bserve the effects f shivering (颤栗).”(克劳说,他16年前就想到了这种独特的神经刺激器的想法,当时他进入寒冷的大西洋,以便观察颤抖的效果)可知,克劳对BinicGym的灵感来自他自己的经验。故选D。
    10.
根据第四段“But peple seem s impressed by the abilities f BinicGym t give them a wrkut while resting n a sfa that they seem t have n prblem parting with $ 300 fr the chance t ne day try it ut. Crwe's crwdfunding campaign had a gal f $ 20, 000, but with 11 days t g, it's already passed the $ 287. 000 mark.”(但是人们似乎对BinicGym在沙发上休息时进行锻炼的能力印象深刻,以至于他们对于只要300英镑就可以尝试一天毫无困难,克劳的众筹活动的目标是$20,000,但在还有11天的时候,它已经达到了$287000的成绩。)
    11.
推理判断题,根据最后一段“Beginners r lder peple can use it at lwer levels and make their way up t the tugher prgrams.”(初学者或年长的人可以在较低的水平上使用它,并逐步提高难度)可推断,Binic Gym可以满足不同人的需求。故选B。

    22.
故选A。
    23.
A. pressure压力;B. pain疼痛;C. guilty内疚的;D. injury伤害。根据上文提到“first aid may prevent a victim's cnditin frm wrsening”(急救可以防止受害者的病情恶化)再结合and连接两个并列的结构,根据递进关系可知,急救还可以缓解疼痛。故选B。
    24.
根据下文“In the case f the critically injured,a few minutes can make the difference between cmplete recvery and lss f life.”(对于伤势严重的人来说,几分钟就可以决定是完全康复还是失去生命。)

A. result frm由于;B. suffer frm遭受;C. take n 承担;D. lead t 导致。根据上文“Imprperly mving a persn with a neck injury”可知不恰当地移动颈部受伤的人可能会导致永久性脊髓损伤和瘫痪。

A. apply 适用;B. refer 提到;C. turn 转身;D. respnd回答。 故选A。
    29.
A. needed需要;B. selected 挑选;C. requested请求;D. refused拒绝。根据空后“…and asked fr permissin t prvide any first aid”(并请求允许其提供任何急救)可知此空应该和asked fr“请求”是同义词。故选C。

    35.
A. t到某处;B. with和……一起;C. n在……上;D. at在。
