Many people shared their opinions and stories online. Most of them expressed their support, saying that with less pressure of teaching, a P.E. teacher could pay more attention to the class and the students. And at the news, the Ministry of Education(教育部) said that any teacher in a school can be a headteacher and that their differences among teachers lie only in the subjects they teach.
P.E. is often seen as a less important subject and Chinese students spend more time on subjects like Chinese, math and English. Many people think it does not really matter whether students do well in the P.E. class or not. As a result, some parents believe that a P.E. teacher can’t be a good headteacher.
Does P.E. really not matter to students? Of course not! It’s very important to students’ physical health.
And a strong body can help students study better. For this reason, the ministry also said more attention would be paid to P.E. classes. It’s a good move. The subject will be given as much importance as Chinese or math. In the examinations for high schools, the points for P.E. will rise to be the same as Chinese, math and English, and they should do it step by step so that parents can accept it.

B.Because their children do well in P.E .classes.
C.Because P.E.teachers can’t pay attention to the class.
16.The underlined sentence—“And a strong body can help students study better”—is used to ________.
A.ask all P.E.teachers to be headteachers.
B.show the writer’s opinion.
C.tell students to pay more attention to math and Chinese classes.
