设计说明

首先复习Millie的学校生活中的几个片段，呈现语法和表时间的三个介词in，on，at，在此基础上详细地逐一讲解这三个介词的用法，并完成课本提供的练习；接下来同样通过Millie的爱好呈现频率副词及其相关用法，同时完成课本的相关练习，让学生巩固所学知识。

教学目标

通过本单元的教学，让学生达成以下目标：

1. 知识目标

掌握词汇：would，would like，life，roller skating。

2. 能力目标

(1)用正确的介词来表达时间。

(2)正确识别并使用频度副词。

Step 1  Warming up

Revise Millie’s day by asking some questions.

1. When does she get up?

2. When does she have classes?

3. When does she go to the Reading Club?

Answers:

1. She gets up at half past six.

2. She has classes from Monday to Friday.

3. She goes to the Reading Club on Tuesday and Thursday.

Step 2  Presentation

Present the prepositions(介词) of time: in，on，at and their usage.

1. We use“in”before parts of the day，months，seasons，years.

in the morning/afternoon/evening

in January/February/March/April/May/June/July/August/September/October/

in spring/summer/autumn/winter

in 1971/2014

2. We use“on”before days，dates，parts of a specific day，special holidays.

3. We use“at”before time of a day，age，mealtimes，some festivals，some special periods.

at midnight                 在午夜 

at the weekend/at weekends    在周末

Notice:在next，last，this，one，any，each，every，some，all的词组和tomorrow，yesterday，the day after tomorrow，the day before yesterday前不用任何介词。

Step 3  Practice

Complete the email on page 47 and explain “would like”.

Step 4  Presentation

Present the adverbs of frequency and their usage by presenting Millie’s hobbies.

1. 频率副词用在be动词后。

   It is usually hot in summer. 夏天天气通常是热的。

2. 频率副词用在主要动词前。

   My father usually walks home. 我的父亲经常步行回家。

3. 频率副词用在助动词与主要动词之间。

I will always love you. 我将永远爱你。 

4. 对频度副词提问，用How often，译为“多久一次”。
