Module 3 Diet and healthUnit 10 A birthday party (Stage 3)Listening and speaking: Shopping for the party设计说明让学生结合上节课所学,通过习题回顾上节课所学知识点。另外,通过提出“在聚会上准备什么食品”的问题导入新课,给出相关食品的图片和英文名称,辅助他们做出回答。呈现生词,为后面的学习扫清词汇障碍。通过听课文音频及跟读,让学生熟悉课文内容,了解大意。让学生带着问题听课文,为课文学习做好准备。再次听课文,让学生掌握课文的标准发音并模仿跟读,并四人一组进行对话练习,选取部分小组上台展示。针对讨论内容记录各自的购物清单,让学生将所学应用到实际生活中。接下来,通过让学生找出课文中的疑难问题然后小组讨论解决,合作探究,锻炼学生独立解决问题的能力。深入学习课文内容。然后,通过知识点的讲解,让学生学习英语知识。最后,通过当堂达标题来让学生查漏补缺。教学目标通过本课节的教学,让学生达成以下目标:1.知识目标掌握本课节新词汇:spring roll, soya milk;学会运用“What food/drink shall we have?”,Let’s do句型及答语。2.能力目标能够听懂有关食物的对话;能够提炼重要信息;能够针对需要购买的物品进行讨论,并记录购物清单。3.情感目标教授学生理性辨别的能力,并培养他们健康的生活方式。重点难点重点:学习本课节新词汇及句式难点:能够听懂有关食物的对话;能够提炼重要信息;能够针对需要购买的物品进行讨论,并记录购物清单教学准备PPT课件;活动Look, listen and act的录音;有关生词及聚会食物的图片。授课时数1课时教学过程Step 1 Revision1. Get the students to look at the following pictures carefully.2. Play the recording again for them to check the answers.3. Check the answer together.Answer: They will have some chicken wings, spring rolls and some nuts.4. Play the recording for the students again and let them repeat after the recording.5. Let them practise acting the dialogue in groups of four.6. Some groups will act in front of the class.Activity 21. Play the recording for the second dialogue for the students to listen to.2. Ask the students: What drink will the children have at the party?3. Play the recording again for the students to check the answers.4. Check the answer together.Answer: They will have some orange juice and some soya milk.5. Play the recording for the students again and let them repeat after the recording.6. Let them practise acting the dialogue in groups of four.7. Some groups will act in front of the class. Step 5 Ask, answer and write1. Get the students to help Kitty write the shopping list. 2. In groups of four, discuss the food and drink the students would like to have at their party. Let the students find out the phrases, useful expressions and difficult language points and discuss them in groups of four.2. Explain the difficult language points to the students.
