Module 2 My neighbourhoodUsing English 设计说明首先复习什么是引导词,借此回顾上一模块所学的知识。继而引入引导词的作用,并借助引导词的页码范围,让学生推断具体某些单词所在的位置,这样可以教会学生先预判大致页码再进一步查找单词,换句话说,让他们更加高效地使用词典。另外,结合词典中的义项教会学生判断具体语境下单词的意思是什么。在教学过程中,穿插小组活动,让他们互帮互助,共同发现问题、解决问题,一起学习,创设相对开放的学习情境。最后,设置题目让学生自己查字典找词义,让他们最终学会使用词典独立解决实际问题。教学目标通过本课节的教学,让学生达成以下目标:1.知识目标学习使用词典。2.能力目标能够弄清引导词的重要作用;能够自主利用词典查找单词。3.情感目标锻炼学生团队协作能力以及独立解决问题的能力。重点难点重点:学习使用词典。难点:能够弄清引导词的重要作用;能够自主利用词典查找单词。教学准备PPT课件。授课时数1课时教学过程Step 1 RevisionReview how to use dictionary by asking the students a question like this:What is a guide word? Step 2 Look and find1. Tell them the function of guide words.T: Guide words can help you find a word in the dictionary quickly. If you want to look up a word in a dictionary, you had better find the guide word first.2. Give the students some page numbers and guide words from a dictionary. Ask them to finish the task.Where can you find the words in the list on the right? Write the numbers of the pages. If the word would not be on any of the pages listed, write ✕ after it.
