设计说明

首先让学生通过几个小问题谈谈他们的学校生活，概括出学校生活的方方面面。既复习了前一课的话题，又为接下来的学习做了铺垫。通过图片呈现生词降低文本解读难度。初步了解课文后，让学生发现英国和美国校园生活的不同，并找出相对应的人物。引导学生细读课文，让学生对课文有更深层次的理解，从而进一步把握文章的结构和细节。最后通过表格归纳所学，带领学生理清思路，加深对课文的理解和记忆。

教学目标

通过本单元的教学，让学生达成以下目标：

1.知识目标

掌握词汇：mixed, French, foreign, language, during, discuss, offer, end, baseball, win, in class

2.能力目标

(1)了解来自英美国家Nancy和John的校园生活。

Step 1  Lead-in

Ask students to have a free talk to say something about their school life.

1. How many lessons do you have every day ?

6. Do you have a hero (英雄,偶像) ?

Step 2  Presentation

1. Look at eight pictures and learn some English words.

It is a mixed school. Boys and girls have lessons together.

People in France speak French. French is a foreign language.

16. end earlier than usual 比平时结束得更早

   end v. 结束, 还可作名词, 表示“尽头，末端，结束”。

17. twice a week 每周两次

   注意：就时间的频率提问用“How often…?”

19. practice doing sth. 练习做某事

e.g. 男孩子们在练习打篮球, 女孩子们在练习跳舞。
