设计说明 首先通过根据文字描述和图片猜出风景名胜,然后了解一些北京的旅游景点,继而引出为朋友送行而外出一天旅行,由此开展写作方面的训练。通过课本中的例文进而了解书信的格式和外出计划的表达方式,以达到对学生写作技能的提升的教学目的。 教学目标 通过本单元的教学,让学生达成以下目标: 1.知识目标 掌握词汇:square, meet everyone, see the biggest city square, visit the garden and row boats, plan a day out, go back to… 2.能力目标 (1)选择、组织并呈现信息。 (2)识别关键信息并将其归类,计划一次郊游。 (3)写信邀请朋友郊游。 3.情感目标 通过制定外出计划,培养学生对友谊的珍惜之情。 重点难点 重点:识别关键信息并将其归类,计划一次郊游 难点:写信邀请朋友郊游,并能正确地运用书信格式来完成写作内容 教学准备 PPT课件;相关图片 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Lead-in Show some pictures and give some words describing the pictures, ask the students to guess these places of interest, such as the Sydney Opera House, the Eiffel Tower, the White House, the Great Wall. Step 2 Presentation Show them some pictures and present some places of interest in Beijing: the Great Wall, Tian’anmen Square, the Palace Museum, the Summer Palace, Beihai Park and Wangfujing Street. Then talk about what we can do in these places of interest. Step 3 Practice 1. Linda will go back to the USA soon, so Kitty and Daniel are planning a day out for her. Draw a map for Linda. Sunshine Underground Station→Tian’anmen Square→The Palace Museum→Beihai Park→Wangfujing Street. 2. Ask students to look through the table on page 40 and learn about the time, places and activities of their plan. 3. Ask and answer. Linda is chatting with her mother. Work in pairs and complete their conversation. (1) When and where will you meet your friends? (2) How long will it take to get there by underground? (3) How will you go to the Palace Museum? (4) Where will you go next? (5) Will you go shopping? 4. Deal with B. Help Kitty and Daniel complete their letter to their classmates. Use the information from their plan in Part A on page 40. Then check the answers with students. Ask students to read the passage on Page 41 and prepare to do some exercises. Step 4 Analysis 1. Analyze how to write a letter about a day out and the forms of letters. (1)Date (2)Name of receiver (3) Purpose of this letter (4)Plan (5) Instructions (6) Closing (7)Signature(s) 2. Analyze that a plan should include time, transport, place, activities. Students can also use some conjunctions, such as first, then, after that, next, finally. Step 5 Writing 1. Write a letter to invite your classmates to go on a trip with you and your friends. 2. What should we write about? 3. When and where will we go on a trip? 4. Who will take part in the trip? 5. What activities will we hold during the trip? 6. Show some beautiful places in Lianyungang such as Mount Huaguo, Lian Island, Yun Tai Mountain, Peach Blossom Stream. Divide the students into groups and discuss how to write the letters. 7. Show time. Choose some pairs to present their compositions. 8. Give students some suggestions on travelling. (1) Protect the environment, don’t throw rubbish. (2) Take phones, umbrellas and some medicine with us. (3) Take good care of our things. (4) Keep ourselves safe. Step 6 Homework 1. Finish writing the plan 2.
