设计说明 首先通过表格复习已学的大熊猫的相关知识,分别从外貌、主要食物、习性及所面临的危险等方面用自己的话来进行描述。接着,引入对熊的介绍,通过图片教授生词,进而过渡到A部分内容。然后学生两人一组讨论,根据获取的信息,用自己的话向对方描述熊。最后,在写作前,让学生根据A部分的五个方面构思报告、组织信息并发表自己的观点。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学,让学生达成以下目标: 1.知识目标: 掌握词汇:report, tail, insect, move, slowly, daytime, otherwise 2.能力目标: (1)用调查获取的信息描述野生动物的外貌、主要食物、习性和所面临的危险; (2)利用调查所得信息写一份报告,并对处于危险中的野生动物发表自己的观点。 3.情感目标: 了解野生动物,保护野生动物。 重点难点 重点:学习在报告中呈现真实信息并发表自己的观点 难点:学习在写作前先列提纲,利用调查所得信息写一份报告 教学准备 PPT 课件。 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Lead-in 1. Let’s review something about giant pandas. T: In this unit, we’ve learnt about wild animals. Now we know a lot about their looks, food, abilities, qualities and the danger they face. Today, we’ll learn how to write a report about them. First, let’s review something about giant pandas.
2. Ask some students to talk about giant pandas according to the table. Step 2 Presentation 1. Teach some new words and expressions using the pictures. A report on bears
Teach the new words: report, tail, paw, insect 2. Read the Simon’s notes with the class, using the pictures. Make sure the students can understand them. Step 3 Work on Part A 1. Ask students to read Simon’s notes and take turns to tell their partners about bears.
2. Ask students what actions we can do to protect bears. 3. Ask students what will happen if we take no actions. Step 4 Work on Part B Get the class to complete Simon’s report using his note in Part A.
