    设计说明

    本单元主要复习一般现在时的被动语态的用法。通过观察句子,分析一般现在时被动语态的结构和意义。并通过结对练习、选词填空、完成会话等,提高对单词、短语、句型、语法等知识的实际运用能力。然后学习一般现在时的被动语态的用法,并通过听、读、结对练习等加以巩固,运用与名著相关的知识。

    教学目标

    通过本单元的教学,让学生达成以下目标:

    1. 知识目标

    (1)复习本模块的重点新单词、短语及句型。

    (2)复习一般现在时的被动语态的用法。

    2. 能力目标

    能够阅读一些英语文学作品,能用一般现在时的被动语态来谈论自己最喜欢的作家及作品。

    3. 情感目标

    通过阅读名著,拓宽知识面,加深对文学作品的了解。

    Step 1  Language practice

    Read the sentences aloud. Pay attention to the words in red.

    Their works are still read by many people today.

    We’re still influenced by Confucius’s ideas.

    It is still read and loved by people all over the world.

    Step 2  Grammar

    The Passive Voice(被动语态)

    1. 主动语态表示主语是动作的执行者;被动语态表示主语是动作的承受者。

    They make trains in Zhuzhou.(主动语态)他们在株洲制造火车。 

    Trains are made in Zhuzhou.(被动语态)火车是在株洲制造的。

    2. 被动语态的基本构成

    be+及物动词的过去分词(+by+动作执行者)

    被动语态的人称、数和时态的变化通过be的变化体现出来。

    本模块我们主要学习一般现在时的被动语态,其构成形式是:am/is/are+及物动词的过去分词。

    3. 被动语态的句式结构

    肯定句:主语 + be + 及物动词的过去分词(+ by+动作的执行者)+其他.

    否定句:主语 + be not + 及物动词的过去分词(+by+动作的执行者)+其他.

    一般疑问句Be +主语 + 及物动词的过去分词(+by+动作的执行者)+?

    特殊疑问句:疑问词(组)+ be +(主语 +)及物动词的过去分词(+by+动作的执行者)+其他?

    什么情况下使用被动语态?

    一般说来,有下面几种情况需用被动语态:

    1)不知道谁是动作的执行者时。

    Salt is produced in East and South China. 盐产于中国的东部和南部。

    2)需要强调动作的承受者时。

    My watch has been repaired. 我的手表已经修好了。

    3)没有必要提到动作的执行者时。

    This company was set up in 1987. 这家公司成立于1987年。

    4)出于委婉而避免提及自己或第三方时。

    You are asked to give another performance. 有人请你再表演一个节目。

    5)当动作的执行者不是人的时候。

    We were stopped from going home by a heavy rain.

    一场大雨阻止了我们回家。

    1. The work is a punishment because he missed school one day.

    这份工作是一个惩罚,因为有一天他逃学了。

    punishment名词,意为“惩罚”。它是由动词punish加上名词后缀 -ment构成的。

    其他的常见以-ment结尾的名词:

    enjoy 动词,意为“喜欢;欣赏;享受”,后常接名词、代词或动词-ing形式作宾语。

    常用短语:enjoy oneself 玩得高兴;过得愉快
