Lesson 3: Getting to Know You!
设计说明 首先,通过与同学们谈论有关朋友的一些事情进入本课话题。然后借助图片和句子语境学习本课的生词,之后听读对话,结合本课Let’s Do It!中的练习2让学生熟悉对话内容,并在此基础上听录音完成本课Let’s Do It!中的练习1。其次,让学生找出对话中的重要短语,然后分角色朗读对话,加强对对话的整体理解并体会询问朋友喜好和表达个人喜好的句式。再次,完成Let’s Do It!中的练习3,并以小组合作的方式进行PROJECT的活动。最后,讲解本课中的重要知识点,并通过设置的当堂达标的题目检测学生的课堂学习效果。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学,让学生达成以下目标: 1.知识目标 掌握单词: immediately, glad, pancake, lemon, hate, either 接触单词:ahead, pizza, comb 短语:go ahead, play the violin 句型:What colour do you like? What do you hate? I like to play the violin. I hate to go out of bed early. I don’t like rain either. 2.能力目标 (1) 能用英语询问别人的喜好; (2) 能用英语表达自己和他人的喜好。 3.情感目标 了解自己的新朋友。 重点难点 1.重点:掌握本课节的单词和短语。 2.难点:能用英语询问别人的喜好和表达自己和他人的喜好。 教学准备 PPT 课件;本课节用到的录音。 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Warming up Have a free talk with students. Ask students the following questions: Do you have a new friend? Do you know her/him well? What interests does your new friend have?
Step 2 Presentation 1. Learn about the new words and expressions of the lesson with the help of pictures and sentences.
2. Lead students to read aloud the new words for many times.
Step 3 Reading and listening
(1) What task did Ms. Cox give to the class? (2) How did Danny feel about the interview? Answers: (1) Ms. Cox asked the students to ask their classmates about their interests and write them down. (2) Danny was a little nervous. 2. Let students listen to the radio of the conversation and answer the question: How many questions does Danny ask Sandra? Answer: Seven. 3. Let students listen to the radio of the conversation again and answer the question: What are Danny’s questions? Try to write the key words. Answer: Name, colour, foods, hate, like to do, hate to do, like dinosaurs. 4. Let students read the conversation quickly and write down all Danny’s questions. Danny’s questions: 1. What is your name, Sandra? 2. What colour do you like, Sandra? 3. What foods do you like to eat? 4. What do you hate? 5. What do you like to do after school? 6. What do you hate to do? 7. Do you like dinosaurs? 5. Ask students to listen to Danny’s report and circle the words in the chart.
7. Ask students to read the conversation in roles and think about: Do you think Danny and Sandra will become good friends? Why? Possible answers: Yes, they will become good friends. Because Sandra likes dinosaurs and they have a nice talk to each other. Step 4 Practice

Sure, go ahead! 很高兴见到你,丹尼。当然可以了,问吧! go ahead有以下几种常见用法: (1) 表示“同意对方的请求”,根据情况可译为“说吧,做吧,开始吧,进行吧”。 — May I start? 我可以开始了吗? — Yes, go ahead. 好,开始吧。 — Will you do me a favour?请你帮个忙好吗? — Go ahead.说吧。 (2) 表示“请对方继续说或做”等,可译为“继续……吧”。 Go ahead. We’re all listening. 继续讲吧,我们都在听着呢。 Go ahead, what are you waiting for? 往前走呀,你在等什么呢? (3) 表示“请对方先走或先做某事”,可译为“你先走一步,你先请”。 You go ahead and tell him that we’re coming. 你先走一步,告诉他我们就来。 You go ahead. I’ll join you soon. 你们先开始,我一会儿就来(和你们一块干)。 2. Let me write that down.让我(把名字)写下来吧。 write down “写下,记下”。在 “动词+副词” 这样的短语中,如果宾语是名词,放在副词前后均可,如果是代词,只能放在动词和副词之间。 The boy wrote the name down/ wrote down the name. 男孩把名字写了下来。 Here is a word. Can you write it down? 这里有一个单词,你能把它写下来吗? 3. I love to eat many different foods, but I like donuts best. 我喜欢吃许多不同的食物,但是我最喜欢吃的是面包圈。 like…best 最喜欢…… like…better 更喜欢…… like…very much 很喜欢…… like… a little 有点喜欢…… don’t (doesn’t) like…at all 根本不喜欢…… — What do sheep like best? 绵羊最喜欢什么? — Grass, I think. 我想是草。 4. I don’t like rain either. 我也不喜欢下雨。 either, also, too作副词,意思是“也”,但用法有区别:
Danny doesn’t like blue and I don’t like blue either. 丹尼不喜欢蓝色,我也不喜欢蓝色。 I am a driver. She is also a driver. /She is a driver, too. 我是司机,她也是司机。 【拓展】① either还可以作限定词或代词,表示“(两者中)任何一个”。 You can park on either side of the street. 这条街两边都可以停车。 You can keep either of the photos. 你可以保留这两张照片中的任何一张。 ② either…or…表示“要么……要么……, 或者……或者……”。 I’m going to buy either a camera or a DVD player with the money. 我打算用这笔钱买一台照相机或者DVD播放器。 5. I also like to go for walks. 我还喜欢散步。 go (out) for a walk/walks 去散步 People in China love to go for walks after supper. 中国人喜欢晚饭后散散步。 I like to go for walks with my family. 我喜欢和我的家人一起去散步。 6. I have one more question. 我还有一个问题。 one more…“另一个……”,相当于another…。“还有几个……”可用“数字+more+…”或“another+数字+…”表达。 Would you like one more cup of coffee? 你想再要一杯咖啡吗?
