设计说明 本单元是复习单元,集中总结和巩固动词不定式作宾语的用法和双宾语的用法,复习巩固本模块的重点单词、短语和句型。本课从指导学生朗读Language practice中的句子入手,引入语法的集中讲解,紧跟单元所设习题进行针对性训练。除语法的针对性训练外,还设置了词汇、阅读和听力的训练。另外,在本课的末尾还安排了戏剧片断表演的实践性环节。所有这些环节的设置,旨在提升学生的语言运用能力。 教学目标 通过本单元的教学,让学生达成以下目标: 1.知识目标 (1)复习巩固本模块所学的生词和短语。 (2)练习巩固动词不定式作宾语的用法和双宾语的用法。 2.能力目标 (1)能熟练运用动词不定式作宾语和双宾语。 (2)表演戏剧片断。 3.情感目标 培养学生对京剧、戏剧等中国传统文化的兴趣和热爱,增强其民族自豪感和文化自信心。 重点难点 重点:本模块的重点词汇、句型,动词不定式作宾语的用法和双宾语的用法 难点:动词不定式和双宾语在具体语境中的运用 教学准备 PPT课件 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Language practice 1. Present the key sentences to the class. Read them with the whole class.
Step 2 Grammar summary Sum up the grammar together with the whole class. 动词不定式作宾语 一、动词不定式的构成 动词不定式由“to +动词原形”构成 (在句中有时要省略to),其否定形式是“not to+动词原形”。 二、动词不定式的功能 动词不定式属于一种非谓语动词的形式,在句子中不能充当谓语,它没有人称和数的变化,但它可以保留动词的性质,比如它的后面可以接宾语构成动词不定式短语,也可以被副词等修饰。动词不定式(短语)可以在句中充当主语、宾语、表语、定语和宾语补足语等句子成分。 三、后面常接动词不定式(短语)作宾语的动词 want,hope,offer,plan,promise,refuse,agree,wish和would like等后面常接动词不定式(短语)作宾语。 I want to be a doctor when I grow up. 我长大后想成为一名医生。 She agreed to help me with my English. 她答应帮助我学习英语。 They would like to stay with us. 他们想和我们待在一起。 [注意] (1) like,love,start,begin等动词后面既可以接动词不定式作宾语,也可以接动名词作宾语,在意思上没有太大区别。 My father likes to read / reading newspapers. 我父亲喜欢看报纸。 (2) finish和enjoy等动词之后不能接动词不定式作宾语,但可以接动名词。 Do you enjoy travelling?你喜欢旅行吗? 双宾语 一、什么是双宾语 有些动词,如buy,teach,give等,后面可以接两个宾语,一个指人,另一个指物。指人的宾语我们称之为间接宾语,指物的宾语我们称之为直接宾语。 My parents bought me a new watch. 我父母给我买了块新手表。
Mr Lin teaches Chinese to us. 林老师教我们语文。 二、动词后接双宾语的两种形式 (1)动词+人+物 My aunt gave me a birthday present. 我姑姑给了我一件生日礼物。 (2)动词+物+to/ for+人 My father usually cooks breakfast for us. 通常我父亲给我们做早饭。 Could you please give the book to Mike? 请你把这本书给迈克好吗? [注意] 当两个宾语都是代词时,必须用“动词+物+to/ for+人”这一形式。 We will give it to him. 我们会把它给他的。 三、常见的含双宾语的结构 give sb. sth. = give sth. to sb. 给某人某物 pass sb. sth. = pass sth. to sb. 把某物递给某人 show sb. sth. = show sth. to sb. 向某人展示某物 teach sb. sth. = teach sth. to sb. 把某事教给某人 lend sb. sth. = lend sth. to sb. 把某物借给某人 send sb. sth. = send sth. to sb. 把某物送给某人 cook sb. sth. = cook sth. for sb. 为某人烹饪…… make sb. sth. = make sth. for sb. 为某人做某物 buy sb. sth. = buy sth. for sb. 为某人买某物 Step 3 Practice 1. Complete the sentences with the correct form of the words in the box. (Activity 1 on Page 38) (1) Ask the students to read the words in the box.
(2) Ask the students to read the sentences and make sure they know what to do. Ask them to follow the example. (3) Ask them to complete the sentences on their own and then check answers in groups. (4) Elicit answers in full sentences from the whole class. Answers: 1 to stay 2 to teach 3 to write 4 to see 5 to spend 2. Read the conversation and complete the note with the correct form of the words in the box. (Activity 2 on Page 38) (1) Ask the students to go through the words in the box. Make sure they know their meanings.
(2) Ask the students to read the dialogue and try to understand it. (3) Tell the students to complete the passage on their own and then check answers in pairs. Answers: (1) wanted (2) offered (3) advised (4) decided (4) Get some students to read the passage. 3. Complete the passage with the correct form of the words in brackets. (Activity 3 on Page 39) (1) Ask the students to look at the photo of the statue and ask if anyone knows who he is. Encourage someone to say something about the famous writer Lu Xun or tell the class something about him. (2) Tell the class to read the passage quickly and tell what this passage is about. T: What is this passage about,everyone? Ss: It’s about the famous Chinese writer Lu Xun. T: Have you read any of his works? Ss: … (3) Ask the students to complete the passage with the correct form of the words in brackets. (4) Get the students to check answers in groups. Answers: (1) to help (2) to be (3) to write (4) to teach (5) think (5) Encourage some students to read the passage. Help them improve their reading skills. Step 4 Vocabulary Complete the passage with the correct form of the words and expression in the box. (Activity 4 on Page 39) (1) Read through the words and expression in the box. Check and teach those the students don’t know.
(2) Tell the students to complete the passage on their own. (3) Check answers in pairs. (4) Check answers with the whole class. Answers: (1) theatre (2) wonderful (3) took place (4) magic (5) cheered Step 5 Listening 1. Listen and choose the correct answer. (Activity 5 on Page 39) (1) Tell the students to read the questions before listening. Try to get as much information as possible. (2) Play the recording while the students are listening for the answers. (3) Play the recording again for them to check their answers. (4) Elicit answers from the whole class. Answers: 1 b) 2 a) 2. Listen again and check (√) the true sentences. (Activity 6 on Page 39) T: Now,boys and girls,let’s listen to the recording once more. Check the true sentences according to the recording. Step 6 Speaking Work in pairs. Talk about your weekend plans. Use the words and expressions in the box to help you. (Activity 7 on Page 40) 1. Ask the students to read the words and expressions in the box. Make sure they know how to use them correctly.
2. Ask the students to discuss weekend activities in pairs and write them on a piece of paper. 3. Ask them to work in pairs to make suggestions about weekend activities,using the words and expressions in the box. 4. Encourage some pairs to talk about their weekend plans. Step 7 Reading Read the passage and choose the correct answer. (Activity 8 on Page 40) 1. Tell the students to read the task and the choices. 2. Play the recording. Let the students choose the correct answer while listening. 3. Ask the students to read the passage to see if they have got the answer. Correct the mistakes. 4. Ask them to check their answers in pairs. 5. Elicit answers in full sentences from the class. Answers: 1 b) 2 a) 3 c) 4 b) Step 8 Around the world T: Look at the picture on Page 41. Guess what it is. Ss: … T: It’s a theatre. There were theatres around 600 BC. A lot of people could watch a play at the same time. Please read the passage for more information.
