    听力文本Craig: Here at the camp we are wild abut whales! Tday yu have been helping us with ur whale research. First f all,we asked yu t find ut sme facts fr a whale prfile. What did yu find,Sally?Sally: There are ver 80 different species f whales. These include the blue whale,the largest knwn animal t have ever existed. They can grw t 100 feet lng,and can weigh nearly 200 tns! There are tw main types f whale:thse with teeth,and thse withut. Thse withut teeth eat very small rganisms,whereas thse with teeth eat fish and ther larger sea animals. Mre than 70 species f whales have teeth.Craig: Great! Then,we asked yu t think abut why we d whale research. Yes,Ben. Ben: Firstly,it is t mnitr hw many whales there are. Whales are threatened by many factrs,including climate change,pllutin,and hunting. Secndly,it is t track where whales g,s we can understand mre abut them,like their life cycle. Lastly,we knw that whales are very intelligent. They cmmunicate and hunt using cmplex sunds,and even sing and share sngs. They can learn by themselves and can teach the things they have learnt t their yung. After that,we gave the grup f whales a name,and each member a number. They will be added t the directry s we can identify them in the future.
