Zhang Fubai, 70, is a follower of sugar painting-the intangible cultural heritage(非物质文化遗产) in Tianjin. He received the sweet business from his father, who was also a sugar painter.
“When I was a little boy, the children in the neighborhood would beg my father for sugar paintings.” he said. At 9 he began to copy the flowers and insects his father painted, and would even try to create sugar paintings himself. “I thought it was fun, but I never expected to become a sugar painter myself.”
In 1966, he finished middle school and became a carpenter(木匠) and part-time tailor(裁缝) dealing with all kinds of drawings. He didn’t make up his mind to join the family business until 1980. In the following years, he would spend days observing small animals in the fields and rivers. The time he spent on watching these things and years of experience as a carpenter and tailor helped him improve his painting skills.
Zhang is never short of customers because he has created close to 200 sugar painting styles, and he updates(更新) all the styles every one or two years. If his customers ask him for something he doesn’t know, he will search on the Internet and try to design the styles in his head.
For now, he is quite worried about passing on the art.
“Few young people are interested in learning sugar painting,” he said, “I hope the younger generation can pay more attention to the intangible heritage. It will sweeten their lives, I promise.”

B.He cannot update his styles quickly enough.
C.The intangible art may disappear.
10.What can we infer(推断) from the passage?

C.Zhang’s sugar painting is very popular.
Providing inclusive(开放包容的) education for children with special needs at an early stage in their schooling is important.
It is easier to include children with special needs in regular(常规的) classes from an early age because the differences between the two groups are small in early childhood. Moreover, kids at this age have very little understanding of discrimination(歧视), and most of them can get on well with special needs children. Only a small part of children with special needs may need to go to a special teaching center.
Age 6 is an important time when children best develop their abilities, including speaking, walking and thinking. For example, social interaction is a main challenge facing children with autism(自闭症). They must learn to play and work with other children: the earlier that happens, the better they can get such skills.
Inclusive education does not necessarily provide one-on-one teaching for children with special needs. Instead, teachers can care for them the same way as other children. Every child is different. If schools keep separating(分开) them by their grades, their differences may grow bigger.
Research shows that children learn better when they stay with their peers(同龄人). Schools in China started allowing children with special needs to study in regular classes in the 1980s. Things are getting better and better but there is still room for development.
11.Why is it easy to include young kids with special needs in regular classes from an early age?
A.Because they’re very different from other students.
B.Because other kids hardly discriminate them.
C.Because a small part of children can get on well with others.
12.What’s the Chinese meaning of the underlined words “social interaction”?
A.社会实验 B.社交互动 C.社会融合
13.Children with special needs don’t need the following things EXCEPT _________.
A.one-on-one teaching
B.being separated by grades
C.staying with normal kids
14.According to the passage, which sentence may agree with the writer’s idea?
A.Kids with special needs mustn’t go to special teaching centers.
B.It’s necessary for children with autism to learn to work with others.
C.There is no need for China to improve its service for children with specialneeds.
15.What can be the best title(标题) of the text?
A.Kids with Special Needs vs. Their Peers
B.Kids with Special Needs in China
C.Inclusive Education for Kids with Needs

In shops, restaurants and supermarkets around Beijing, you may notice a special place about 10 square meters in size. It is a service corner for outdoor workers to rest or to get some necessary things like water, medicine and battery chargers(充电器).
These spaces are free for all outdoor workers to use. Without them, they have to take a break by the roadside.
One restaurant near Xiyuan Subway Station provided space for the service corner. “Working in the restaurant, I can see deliverymen (外卖员) all the time. I know how hard it is for them to make money,” said Li Hui, the restaurant’s owner. “They sometimes can’t get hot water in winter. Service corners almost solve such problems. That’s what I want to do for them. I hope the service corner can warm outdoor workers’ hearts.”
Now there are about 27, 000 service corners in Beijing, and it plans to add another 3, 900. Before the service corners were built, 40-year-old deliveryman Zhang hoped to take a break indoors in order to get warm in winter or to cool off in summer. But he usually didn’t. “It is comfortable to rest indoors. But I don’t want to trouble shop owners. So, I would rest on my bike and play with my phone,” he said.
“I have to save money for my family, and sometimes I am so busy. So, I don’t even notice the service corners. Neither do my co-workers. Maybe it will take a little time for me to get used to them,” Zhang said.
