Where will you live when you grow up? why? What will you do on weekends?Then makes some Ss talk about what their life will be in the future.T leads Ss to think about: What else can we say when talking about future life?  观看视频，回顾相关话题。 趣味回答关于未来职业、地点等话题。  想一想，还可以从哪些方面讨论未来生活？ 利用视频和趣味问答，回顾所学未来生活话题。为后面书写活动做铺垫。    Step 2Pre-writing Go through 3a, T asks Ss to read the article about Jill’s life in the future. Ss try to fill in the blanks with the words in the box. T helps check the answer. Point Analysis. T leads Ss to think about the structure of the article and answer the question: How many aspects Jill writes about her future? (job, place, pet, dressing,opinion, free time activities)  Point Analysis. T lists the structure of article:Beginning (My life will be…), Body (job, place, opinion, free time activities), Ending (I ’m sure I will…). Will be.......Linking words. Go through 3b, T asks Ss to complete the chart about the life in 20 years. Ss can add more items. T may write the items on the board.学生查看3a短文填空任务单，在老师的策略指引下，完成3a并检查答案。 在老师指引下，对3a内容进行结构分析（开端，中间，结论）。      记下笔记。      选中的学生大声作答。    通过短文填空，从中发现有关life in the future的书写策略。    通过分析life in the future的书写框架：Beginning(My life will be…), Body (job, place, opinion, free time activities),Ending (I ’m sure I will…). 做到框架上一目了然。     尽可能多的列出有关未来生活的方方面面，为下一步写作做词汇和句型准备。Step 3While- writing Go through 3c. T leads Ss to think about the specific content of each paragraph.T shows the writing structure and asks students to follow the prompts to complete their article. T reminds that Ss can use the notes in 3a and 3b.T lets some Ss read their passage to the class.学生根据3a,3b的关键词句，完成写作。 学生完成3c写作任务。 学生在书写的过程中，注重词汇选用，时态运用，单词拼写和连接词的使用等。 Step 4Post- writing Peer-editing: T lets Ss exchange articles, evaluate it and then help each other correct them. T reminds Ss that they can follow the key tips on board.Go through activity 4. T lets Ss think about: How you think a robot will help students with schoolwork in the future? Then write your plans.  T asks Ss to complete the tasks in Self Check and work on their own. Check the answers.学生交换文章，根据要点评价并相互修改。  小组讨论。选中的同学大声说出个人观点。    完成Self Check。进一步熟悉写作要点。   引入理想城市话题，鼓励学生多思考，多提计划和措施。   复习more/less/fewer 用法及关于未来生活的will be话题，引导积极的价值观和理想观。Step 5Language Points T explains knowledge points.将知识点做好笔记。 Step6ExercisesT assigns the test. 完成课堂练习。让学生在课上练习消化知识点，及时操练重点知识点语言，让教师把握学情。Step 7SummarySummarize the key content in this lesson. 跟随老师一起进行内容总结。总结本课所学内容， 利用将思维导图给学生进行有序梳理。Step 8HomeworkPolish your writing according to your group members’ advice. 记录作业。根据所学知识，改进写作。板书设计：New wordsKey sentencesprobably, during, holiday,take a holiday, free time activity, fly up into the sky, smart clothes　1.In 20 years, I think I'll be a newspaper reporter.2.I think students won't need dictionaries because a  robot will tell them the meanings of words教学反思：听、说、读、写四种能力是初中英语教学的重点和难点，而写作能力的培养是重点中的难点。在本课教学中，实抓学生的写作大体技术。主要包括能正确判断体裁，准确使用时态，正确运用语法知识点，拼写无误，能在文章中表达自己的观点和态度等。多跟着老师进行模仿性练习，放宽要求，降低难度，以保证学生有一定的兴趣，循序渐进的提高学生的写作能力。
