Brain Storm. T asks: What kind of things are the most important to you? be happy? go to college? be famous?...Ss say like this:Be happy is important to me… 视频导入。 头脑风暴,说说什么事情对你来说是最重要的? 利用情景导入和丰富有趣的的图片导入,,激发学生谈论日期和星期,点燃课堂气氛。Step 2Pre-listening Go through 1a. T asks Ss to complete the work on their own.Do a quick check to see which things are the most important to Ss in the class.T shows pictures in 1a and says: This is Michael and this is the agent of the Lions. And in the second picture,Michael and his parents. What are they talking about? May be they are talking about what he should do. They give him some advice.Ss say like this:Maybe the agent thinks the Lions are the most important things to Michael.学生讨论什么是最重要的。 看1a图片。内容预测。通过1b标题,可能是劝说Michael的。 通过对建议话题探讨,为听力活动做好词汇准备。 Step 3While-listening Go through 1b. T plays the recording and asks Ss to listen to the conversation. Ss listen and put an “A” before each thing the soccer agent talks about and a “P” before each thing Michael's parents talk about. T checks the answers with the Ss.Go through 1c. Ss listen again and complete the sentences in 1c.T says: Let’s retell conversation 1 with the help of the mind map.
