A walk with my father

I am used to taking a 15-minute walk home. That day, I was surprised to see my father waving to me at the school gate.

On the way home, I could notice the look of pride on Dad’s face after telling him I would play in the school basketball match. Dad said he was also good at basketball and couldn’t wait to show me his skills and experience. Shoulder to shoulder, we discussed a lot.

It took us over an hour to get home. I’d never felt so relaxed and lucky to have my father as a friend.

I have been friends with Lily for three years. We always walk together on the road of growth.
