Shuey Rhon Rhon,a very cute little“lantern child”,is the mascot(吉祥物)of the 2022 Beijing Paralympic Games(残奥会).It’s very popular among the athletes and the audience all over the world.Shuey Rhon Rhon was based on a traditional Chinese lantern and it represents warmth and happiness.It was created by Jiang Yufan.She is a design student from Jiayin in Heilongjiang Province.Her first idea was to create a character based on a Chinese dumpling.But at the suggestions of her professors,she soon changed her mind.(19)The idea for the final character came from Jiang’s childhood memories,where many lanterns lit the streets during festivals in her hometown.
