Enzo quickly surfaced and returned with his daughters and a couple of diving knives. They freed the dolphin and helped her to the surface.    Although Enzo held several free-diving records, it was the lives of sea creatures that concerned him most. Enzo devoted his life to educating the world about the link between healthy seas and healthy humans. He often quoted words of a famous musician named Vangelis: "Until a man learns to respect and speak to the animal world, he can never know his true role on Earth."    Enzo recalls of his dolphin rescue, "As soon as she (the dolphin) was on the surface, after breathing out foam and blood, she gave birth to a dolphin calf(幼崽) under the watch fuleyes of her mate."     Enzo and his daughters marvelled(感到惊奇) at the miracle they had just witnessed. We Should Attach Importance To Dolphins' Health    Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy recently declared children's mental health is a national crisis.    In December 2021, Dr. Murthy issued a report to highlight the additional pressures the economic depression had put on the country's youth, and the urgent need to address this. The impact of this crisis is far-reaching, and new research shows that it's affecting parents' well-being, plus their ability to succeed at work and provide for their families.    "On Our Sleeves, a national movement that aims to break shame around children's mental health, surveyed more than 3,000 working parents across the US and found that 8 in 10 parents have been very concerned about their child's mental health and development or behavior in the past two years. Children's mental health concerns have been hiding in plain sight for many years, surrounded by confusion and shame." says Marti Bledsoe Post, the director of On Our Sleeves.    The survey found that 53% of working parents have missed work at least once per month to deal with their children's mental health. And 71% of parents said issues with their child's mental or emotional well-being made the stresses of work much more difficult to cope with.    "Employers need to know that many of their employees are struggling and it is impinging their work as a result," says Marti. "Our mission with On Our Sleeves is to provide every family in America access to free, evidence-based educational resources. We see this study as incredibly important in starting the conversation and providing solutions for working families."    As Marti points out, for some parents, taking a child to weekly therapy(心理治疗) appointments and attending meetings at school consume a lot of time. The company will have solar panels in its roof, hood(引攀盖) and trunk(后备厢) that recharge the electric battery.    The car will be able to drive around 388 miles without stopping to recharge, and will have an additional range of up to 44 miles a day from the solar panels. For comparison, that's slightly more than the best known electric automobile (374 miles).    Each hour in the sun will add up to six miles of charge to the battery. The solar range will not only give an added drip feed of miles for long journeys but also means you'll spend less time at charging points—or may not even need them at all.    The car has much in common with its previous model that was revealed two years ago, but is able to do more with a smaller battery, says company CEO and co-founder Lex Hoefsloot. “The powertrain(动力总成) is the most efficient in the world,” he claims, adding that the car's shape and four in-wheel motors enable a smaller battery to provide the same range. "That's how we've been able to get to 1,575 kilograms. If you look at other cars that offer similar range, they're all about 40% heavier."    The whole concept of the car is based around improving efficiency and cutting charging time. It has a maximum speed of just 100 miles per hour, while its 0 to 100 miles per hour is a slow 10 seconds, something that Hoefsloot admits is down to a focus on range. It's expensive too: One will cost you € 250.000-slightly more than a luxury sports car. The company hopes to launch a "people's model" by 2025, which will be sold for around €30.000.12Which part of the car can produce electricity according to the text?A.Its trunk. B.Its wheels.  C.Its windows. D. Its lamps.13How far can the car travel at most in a day without stopping to recharge?A. 388 miles. B.432 miles.  C.374 miles. D. 285 miles.14What's the feature of the car?A. It speeds up faster and costs too much.B.It can recharge the battery faster than others.C.It has a smaller battery but a heavier weight.D. It has the most efficient powertrain in the world.15In which section of the newspaper can you find this article?A.Technology. B.Entertainment. C.Education. D. I was twelve and the oldest. My sisters, Angie and Susan, didn't understand that our parents had no money but I saw the nearly empty cupboard. I knew Dad had been laid off.    Dad was n proud man who had trouble asking for help, especially when it came to finances. In fact, he rarely accepted gifts of money for his struggling family. Food and clothing for his little girls and wife were gratefully accepted, but money was not.    Grandna Margaret, our neighbor across the street, was a good friend to my mom. My mom's family all lived far away, and we were lucky if we saw them once a year. We couldn't afford the gas. So, Margaret became someone in whom my mom could confide(倾诉). Either Mom told Margaret about the financial struggles about holiday season, or Margaret saw there were no presents under the tree.    One day near Christmas, we heard a knock on the door, and in walked Grandma Margaret with a huge bag and a wrapped, very heavy present. I knew it was heavy as she was struggling to carry it. She walked over to the tree and placed that gift under its branches. "For your mommy and daddy." she said with a smile. Then she opened the bag and began calling our names. Each time she handed one of us girls a gift, she would say, "Not'til Christmas morning!" We were excited!    After she left, we rushed to the tree and started shaking the packages, trying to figure out what was in each brightly wrapped package. I walked over to inspect my mom and dad's gift. I picked it up and tried to imagine what might be inside.注意:1.续写词数应为150左右;2.请按如下格式在答题卡的相应位置作答。    Soon, it was Christmas morning.____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________    Instantly, Mom's eyes teared up as she looked hopefully at my dad.____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Meanwhile, they didn't look down on us, but showed respect for us. By treating us with respect, a positive spirit of friendship develops between us.    With the spirit of friendship first, competition second, we may not come first but can still be a true hero.34答案:    Soon, it was Christmas morning. We raced downstairs to the living room. The night before, we'd placed all our gifts in separate piles. Mom lifted the heavy package onto her lap. She carefully unwrapped it. With the paper off, we found a simple cardboard box, taped shut. Our impatience was mounting. Mom turned it around for us to see. We found an envelope taped to the bottom. Our eyes widened! She removed the envelope, and in-side she found a $ 100 bill!    Instantly, Mom's eyes teared up as she looked hopefully at my dad. Normally, he would have been too proud to accept a gift of money, but his eyes danced in amusement at the clever way Grandma Margaret had given the gift. He simply nodded his head and grinned at Mom, as if to say, "It's okay. You can keep it." Over the years, I remember lots of other acts of kindness by this dear woman. However, no act of kindness has ever equaled her Christmas gifts of the year when I was twelve.
