                   Social Practice in My School

Social practice is regarded as a colorful and meaningful event in my school, in which every student of our school has an opportunity to participate in. We all devote ourselves to different tasks, such as greeting teachers and students at the school gate, cleaning the playground and paths, putting the bikes in order, tidying up the dormitory, and helping workers in the canteen.

What attracts me most is to wash vegetables with my classmates in the canteen. Though many students can’t tolerate the mud on the vegetables, I really enjoy the process. We students can learn to avoid food waste and respect the labor workers after finishing the tiring but meaningful task in the canteen.

In a word, social practice brings us knowledge and pleasure we fail to gain from daily study. All the students involved can have first-hand labor experience and learn the value of cooperation.

Last Sunday, our school organised a friendly basketball match between students and teachers, in an effort to enrich students’ school life.

Bathed in sunshine, players from Grade 3 competed against their teachers in the field, with all the rest students watching excitedly in the bleachers. Both teams were playing at their best in high spirits. Although the teachers dominated the game at first, the students did not give up and tried to intercept every pass from their opponents. The match was filled with great dynamics and interesting plays, ending in a draw of 2: 2.

The recent rapid development of AI technology has attracted many students’ attention, so a lecture with the theme “AI and Tomorrow’s Education” is scheduled to be held in our school auditorium from 1:45 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on June 20th.
