    1. Essay appreciation:

    The experiment                   (被设计来...prove whether air pressure really exists.

                       (...一开始) the experiment, I prepared the materials, including a boiled egg, a glass bottle whose neck is a bit smaller than the egg, and some hot water. With all the things prepared, the experiment began.

    Elephant Toothpaste Experiment

    Materials

            30% hydrogen peroxide H₂O₂

            potash iodide KI

            pigment

            cleanser essence

            a conical flask

    Procedures

    1. Pour the right amount of H₂O₂, a dash of pigment and cleanser essence into the conical flask.
    2. Shake the conical flask to mix up these liquids.
    3. Add a small amount of KI to the conical flask.

    Results
