英  语（安徽专用）

2023年安徽省中考试题还是分为两部分，选择题和非选择题两部分，考试时间120分钟，考试总分120分不变。预测今年中考英语试题还会是中规中矩，对考生比较友好。一是整体难度适中，题目数量和难度会一直保持稳定，素材选取会贴近学生生活，涉及人与自然、人与社会、人与人的关系这三个方面，突出了传统文化和人际交往方面的话题，体现了学科核心素养的文化意识和思维品质。考查学生英语运用能力，和近些年高考趋势接轨。在试卷难度方面，不会有太大变化。

通过对考试信息的梳理以及教学研究成果。单项选择一般考查基础的简单的语法知识，难度不大。完形填空，一般是心灵鸡汤类的记叙文。阅读理解的素材方面话题都是围绕校园生活，环境保护，传统文化来，社会热点来出题，会跟往年差别不大，整体难度不会增加。题型上来说，推理判断，词义猜测，主旨大意题都会出现，其他都是细节理解题。单词拼写一般考查基础单词，需要学生对于词汇做到会拼写。书面表达部分，关于卡塔尔世界杯等社会热点问题特别注意。

An eight-year-old boy named Dylan Helbig had an interesting idea on how to get his unpublished (未出版的) book read by the readers. He simply took it to his local library.

He put the book on one of the shelves. And then he left that area and went to another area. The 81-page handwritten hand-illustrated (手绘的) book was finally discovered by the library staff (职员). They were so impressed with Dylan’s work that they accepted it into their collection. And till last week, there were reportedly 125 people waiting to read the Adventures of Dylan Helbig’s Christmas.

Sounds pretty exciting. And the family say they’re getting offers to have it published.

Do you find that you learn things faster than your parents sometimes? Congratulations, you could be right!

Scientists at Brown University, US, found that school-aged children learn new knowledge and skills faster than grown-ups. This has something to do with a chemical(化学物质) called GABA in our brains. It reduces brain noise so that we can learn things more easily. It also makes new knowledge stay longer in our heads.

The scientists scanned(扫描) the brains of children (8—11 years old) and adults (18—35 years old) before, during, and after doing a learning task. It turned out that when children learn new things, the number of GABA rises quickly. But there’s little change in adults’ brains. This tells us why children are better learners than adults.

The finding, the scientists said, should encourage teachers and parents to let children learn anything from riding a bike, playing an instrument or learning times tables(乘法表) in their childhood. It could also be used to help adults learn faster by increasing the amount of GABA in their brains.

Anne Frank was born on June 12th, 1929, in Frankfurt, Germany. When Anne was a child, Germany was under the control of the Nazis(法西斯主义者). The Nazis were a political party(政党) led by Adolf Hitler.

By 1939, the Nazis started taking over other countries. This led to the World War II. In May, 1940, the Nazis took over the Netherlands. Once again the Frank family was in danger.

In 1942, Anne’s family moved into a secret office building. Soon more people moved into the building, and they were Jewish too. Therefore there was not always enough food for everyone. This made the situation even worse.
