【Period 1】
【教学目标】
(一)语言目标:
1.词汇:能听懂、会说、认读单词sunny, rainy, cold, warm, cool, hot;能听懂、会说单词ice cream.
2.句型:能初步运用“What do you like?”,“I like …/ I don't like …”询问并表达个人对天气的喜好.能听懂、会说句子“I like a sunny day, too.”
(二)应用目标:
1.能通过简笔画或图片指认天气.
2.能在所设置的游戏或情境中向同伴告知天气名称,并表达自己对天气的喜好.
3.听懂会说A部分的对话.
4.通过联想猜物的游戏,学生能根据衣服、太阳镜等日常用品猜测天气,能了解天气变化与衣服和日常用品选择的常识.
【教学重难点】
重点:能听懂、会说、认读单词sunny, rainy, cold, warm, cool, to,并能初步用句型“What do you like?”,“I like …/ I don't like …”询问并表达个人对天气的喜好.
难点:cold, warm, cool, hot四个词汇的区分.
【教学准备】
用于游戏环节的服装,帽子等生活用品类单词图片,用于新授的天气单词卡片,教学图片,教学音频,教学动画,半瓶热水,半瓶冷水等(有条件的学校可利用幻灯片、多媒体课件).
【教学过程】
I. 热身/复习(Warm-up / Revision)
1.Greetings.
2.Enjoy a song: It is a nice day.
It is a nice day. It's a nice day.
I am here. I'm here.
You are here. You're here.
It is a nice day. It's a nice day.
It is a nice day. It's a nice day.
He is here. He's here.
She is here. She's here.
It is a nice day. It's a nice day.
II. 新课呈现(Presentation)
1.T: Boys and girls, is today is a nice day?
Ss: Yes.
T: It's a very nice day. Here is the sun in the sky.
(1)在黑板上画一个微笑的太阳,学习单词sun, sunny, sunny day.(如果天气不好,可以从其他单词教起)
(2)在黑板上画下雨的天气标识,学习单词rain, rainy, rainy day.
(3)教学hot
T: Now I'm very thirsty. Can I drink some water, please?
Ss: OK!
T:(倒水开始喝):Oh, my goodness! It's too hot. Please touch it, is it hot?
Ss: yes, it's hot!
学生传递这杯水并学说新词hot.
(4)教学cold
T: This water is too hot. I can't drink it. What can I do? Ah, here's another bottle of water. (内有冰块)
Oh, it's too cold! (让学生再次触摸)Is it cold?
学生传递这杯水并学说新词cold.
(5)教学warm
T: This bottle of water is too hot. That bottle of water is too cold. I can't drink them.
Now, I have a cup. What can I do? Come and help me please.
(学生上台演示,教师帮助学生表达)
S: Pour some hot water into the cup, and pour some cold water in-to the cup.
T: hanks very much. It's warm now.
出示单词卡片教学warm.
(6)教学cool
T(将冰水倒入温水中):Now, what will it be?
S: It's cool.
T: Yes, so clever.
(7)出示春暖花开的昆明、烈日炎炎的三亚、凉风习习的拉萨、雪花飘舞的哈尔滨等图片.
T: What's the weather like in Kunming?
S1: It's warm in Kunming.
可用动作辅助,以加强学生的理解和记忆.如双手交叉置于胸前表示warm,用手做扇风的动作表示hot,做搓手的动作表示cold,右手掌朝上,用嘴在上面哈气表示cold.
(8)词汇操练
a.利用音频的地道发音带读.
b.小老师.教师边带读边将单词卡发给读得认真的学生,随后学生认真听老师读单词,拿到该单词卡片的学生扮演“小老师”,出示卡片并带读三遍.
c.教师指着黑板上的简笔画.
T: I like a sunny day.(板书:I like a sunny day.)
T: What about you? What do you like? (板书:What do you like?)
S1: I like a rainy day.
d.教师与学生一边说,一边有节奏地打拍子,任点一学生回答.
T & Ss: Like, like, what do you like?
S1: I like a sunny day.
2.The dialogue
第一步:Read and circle.
让学生自读课文,画记生词.教师在黑板上画出冰激凌的简笔画,学习单词ice cream.
第二步:Listen and count.
让学生闭上眼睛,听录音,听音前给出任务:你听到了几个关于天气的单词?分别是哪几个?
第三步:Listen and find.
打开书,听音,画出所有关于天气的单词,检查自己听到的是否正确.
第四步:Listen and repeat.
听音跟读,引导学生正确模仿其语音和语调.
第五步:Listen and remember.
闭上眼睛,听音,并努力记忆,随后让学生说出其记忆深刻的句子.
第六步:Work in groups.
让学生以小组为单位朗读课文,教师巡视指导,引导学生互帮互学.
III. 趣味练习(Practice)
1.联想猜物.课件出示太阳镜、太阳帽、雨伞、雨衣、外套、毛衣、连衣裙、T恤等,让学生猜测与之相对应的天气.
2.London Bridge
游戏规则:请两名学生上来手拉手架起一座桥,其他学生排成长队,老师播放London Bridge的音乐,学生依次从桥下通过,音乐停止则两位架桥的学生的提问,没有顺利过桥的学生回答.
S1 & S2: What do you like?
S3: I like a rainy day.
IV. 角色表演(Act and play)
1.让学生就A部分的内容进行角色表演,最好能有人物头饰的辅助.
2.教师展示T恤、裙子二夹克、外套等衣服,让学生说出相应的单词.再出示四张分别来自三亚、哈尔滨、拉萨、昆明的人物图片,让学生选择其中之一进行角色表演.
S1: Hello, I'm Amy. I'm eight. Nice to meet you! I'm from Sanya. It's hot in Sanya. I can wear my dress.
【作业布置】
1.读新单词.
2.听音频,读对话.
3.做天气卡片,并配上四线格和相应的单词.
