【教学目标】
(一)语言目标:
1.词汇:能听懂、会说、认读新单词thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen, twenty.
2.句型:能用“How many ... are there?”询问物体的数量,并能用简单句“Thirteen /...”回答.
(二)应用目标:
1.能用“How many ... are there?”询问物体的数量,并能用简单句回答.
2.能数数thirteen—twenty,了解名词的复数形式.
3.能听懂、会说A部分的对话.
【教学重难点】
重点:能听懂、会说、认读新单词thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, sixteen, seventeen, eighteen, nineteen, twenty,并能用“How many ... are there?”询问物品的数量,能用简单句回答.
难点:(1)“How many ... are there?”句型结构的运用既是本课时的重点,也是难点.
(2)thirteen到nineteen都是双音节单词,重音在第二个音节,twenty的重音在第一个音节,让学生感知重音和次重音的区别,为以后学习 thirty、forty、fifty 等打下基础.其中 thirteen、fifteen、twenty的发音是难点.
(3)名词复数形式的变化以及发音也是本单元的难点,在汉语中没有这一语法现象.
【教学准备】
用于复习时间的钟面,用于新授单词的数字图片,实物(rulers、pens、books、pencils...),单词卡片,教学图片,教学动画等(有条件的学校可利用幻灯片、多媒体课件).
【教学过程】
I. 热身/复习(Warm-up / Revision)
1.Greetings.
2.The song “Ten Little Indian Boys”. 该儿歌涉及数字以及名词的复数,歌词朗朗上口,曲调优美动听,易于激发学生兴趣.
3.Revision: What time is it?
T: What time is it, Pete?
Peter: It's nine o'clock.
(教师用钟面转动到以下时间:4:00,6:00,7:00,11:00,12:00,提问:What time is it?旨在复习时间的问答和学过的数字one-twelve)
II. 新课呈现(Presentation)
1.New words and sentence pattern
(1)thirteen
出示一个大盒子,里面装有各种文具:pens, pencils, rulers, erasers…
T(挥动“魔法棒”): Hello, everyone! I'm a magician. I have a lot of magic things in my box. What's in it? Can you guess?
T: What's in the box?
S: A pen.
T: Yes, A pen.(教师拿出一支钢笔,挥舞手中的“魔法棒”)Abracadabra, three, two, one.(又拿出第二、第三支钢笔…)Please count the pens.
Ss: One pen, two pens…twelve pens,(教师提示)thirteen pens.
T: How many pens are there?
Ss: Thirteen pens.
板书并教学单词thirteen及句型“How many pens are there? Thirteen pens.”.
(预测:thirteen中th的字母组合发音是难点,运用自然拼音法带读,突破发音难点,并强调重音在teen这个音节.还可以补充带读mouth, three, tooth, thank 等.)
(2)fourteen
T: (教师再挥舞手中的“魔法棒”)Abracadabra, three, two, one.(又拿出一支钢笔)How many pens are there?
Ss: Fourteen pens.(教师提示)
板书并教学单词fourteen.
(fourteen中的four用红色的粉笔板书)
(3)fifteen-twenty用已学过的其他物品结合句型“How many ... are there?”进行教学.可以收集孩子们的文具pencils, erasers, rulers…也可以用多媒体课件展示,如 sixteen pencils, seventeen birds, eighteen ducks, nineteen coats, twenty shirts.
(4)词汇操练
a.利用音频带读B部分.
b.教师带读.
c.游戏——Minding the mine!(当心地雷!)在学生易读会读的单词后“埋”一枚“地雷”,教师先按顺序带读每一个单词,然后不按顺序带读,碰到“埋”有“地雷”的单词,学生不能跟读,否则会爆炸.这一游戏可以集中学生的注意力,提高学生学习的兴趣,同时也重点突破了单词教学的难点.
d.采取集体练读、分组练读或单个练读等多种形式.
e.游戏——Pat the ball(拍球)教师拍球,学生数数,也可以让一名同学拍,其他同学数.目的是通过多种方式牢牢吸引学生的眼球,保持学生高昂的学习兴趣.
2.The dialogue
课文学习:听说读相结合,运用任务型教学法循序渐进地引导学生熟悉对话.
第一步:Listen and answer.
不打开书,只听音,听音前,给出问题:
How many rulers are there?
How many pens are there?
第二步:Watch the video and repeat.
观看录像(或者听录音),跟读,注意thirteen的发音,提醒学生注意模仿语音、语调.
第三步:Read and practice.
多种形式进行A部分朗读训练,如小老师带读、分组读、男女生分角色读等.
第四步:Practice and act.
两人一组,进行对话练习,可以利用不同的文具以及教室内的物品进行对话和表演.
III. 趣味练习(Practice)
1.报数(Count from one to twenty):结合平常学生上体育课的要求,请一小组学生上台,先要求学生排好队(Line up),然后要求他们大声报数(Count from one to twenty).依次请各小组上台,看哪组排队快、静、齐,报数响亮、准确.也可在全班范围内进行报数1-20的比赛,训练学生的快速反应能力.
2.Guess, guess, guess: 用课件展示,快速闪现图片(monkeys, rulers, T-shirts, coats.) ,猜一猜这些物品的数量.
T: How many shirts are there? Can you guess? (快速闪现图片)
S1: Nineteen shirts.
S2: Fifteen shirts.
S3: Eighteen shirts.
T: Yes, you are right. Eighteen shirts.(出示图片)

IV. 角色表演(Act and play)
1.创设情景,自由会话.
情景一:学校开展向边远山区小朋友献爱心的活动,同学们积极踊跃地捐献学习用品.教师要求学生先分小组统计本组所捐献的用品的数目,每小组选一名学生当统计员,将统计的结果向全班汇报.
S1: How many pencils are there? ...
S2/ S3 ...: Let's count. One pencil, two pencils ... seven pencils.

S1: One, two, three, four … sixteen ducks.
【作业布置】
1.读新单词.
2.听音频,读对话,并试着表演对话.
3.运用句型“How many ... are there?”,和家人或同学玩“猜一猜”的游戏.
