    Language pints
    happening作名词,一般用复数形式。Lying in the bed, he reviewed the day’s happenings.
    nise /nɔɪz/ n. 声音;噪音
    2. Every night we hear strange nises utside ur windw.(教材P59 3a)
    nise既可作可数名词,又可作不可数名词,其形容词为nisy,意为“吵闹的;嘈杂的”。make (a) nise 意为“制造噪声,发出声音”。It’s nisy utside. Let’s g ut and see wh is making such (a) nise.
    nise多指不悦耳的吵闹声、嘈杂声,可与make连用。sund泛指能听见的自然界的各种声音,不带有任何感情色彩。vice多指人说话、唱歌的声音,不可与make连用。 They were making t much nise. Des light travel faster than sund?Many teenagers lve the singer because she has a sweet vice.

    (1)情态动词表示推测时,无时态区别,只有语气差别。表示推测的情态动词的语气强弱顺序如下(由强到弱): must > can > culd > may > might (2)含有must的句子(must表推测)变为否定句时,要用can’t。He must be at hme. →He can’t be at hme.
    (1)情态动词+动词原形:表示对现在事情的推测。This bk must be Jim’s because his name is n it.(2)情态动词+be+动词-ing:表示对正在发生的事情的推测。My mther might be cking in the kitchen. (3)情态动词+ have +动词的过去分词:表示对过去情况的推测。The grund is wet. It must have rained last night.
