    On reaching hme, I finished my dinner quickly and ran ut t set ff the firewrks. I was fascinated by the variety f clurs that burst pen frm the firewrks and lit up the sky, but my wnder was shrt­lived. I nticed that my grandfather had gne inside the huse cughing. Wndering why, I lked arund and nticed all the smke that may have been irritating his thrat. Feeling bad fr nly a secnd, I cntinued lighting the firewrks ne after anther. But, inside me, it felt different — I felt guilty abut taking pleasure frm bursting the firewrks.
    I culd feel my cnscience pricking me, “Manan! Hw can yu d this? It just takes a few minutes fr all the mney t disappear in smke, but the by yu met tday lked like he did nt even have the basic necessities f life. The children in rphanages als need lve and help. Didn't yu see hw yur firewrks have affected Grandpa t? Can yu still ignre these things and indulge in this kind f fun?” Realising the wrthlessness f this temprary pleasure, I really wanted t use the mney in a mre rewarding way. Later that day, we discussed the idea with my parents and they applauded it. After sme research, my whle family decided t visit “Happy Hme”. Finally, n Diwali we arrived there with cake, clthes, sweets, games, and gifts fr everyne.
    Sn enugh, the rphanage was filled with laughter, jy and celebratin. We sang sngs, danced, tld jkes, and played games. And we even set ff firewrks tgether! Even befre we realised, it was already time fr us t leave. We said gdbye t them, prmising t cme back again sn. I felt very happy because this Diwali was celebrated in such a rewarding way.
