Unit 11 I was born in January教学设计【学习目标】一. 语言知识与技能目标(一)语言知识目标1.能熟练地听、说、读以下词汇:present, cake, card, candle, party, January, was, be born, go on2. 能听读以下句型:1)What’s going on? 2)I was born in January.3. 能借助情境理解课文,并进行表演。 (二)语言技能目标1.能用正确的语音语调朗读课文对话。2.能在听说的活动中理解和运用本课单词和句型,并能运用所学的语言进行模拟交际。 (三)学习策略目标小组合作学习,积极交流,共同完成学习任务。 (四)情感态度目标1. 乐于模仿,敢于开口说英语,积极与人交流。2. 通过活动,培养学生参与课堂教学活动的兴趣和积极性。 (五)文化意识目标通过本话题的学习,学会祝福别人的生日,并养成礼貌得体的交际礼仪。 二、学情分析四年级的学生一般都活泼好动,形象思维好。但本模块词汇量大,功能词多,尤其是比较复杂的12个月份的单词学习,可能让学生对英语产生了一定的畏难感。而且他们对旧知识的遗忘率较高,因此常常表达起来不是很流畅。创设生日会的情景,营造融洽愉快的课堂氛围,有利于打破不敢说英语的心理障碍。经过Module5的学习,学生基本掌握了现在进行时的结构,对动词ing形式并不陌生。利用抽签的方式寻找小寿星,满足孩子们的寻求刺激的特点,增进他们进行小组合作学习的热情。 三、教学重、难点重点:1.能正确理解并流利朗读课文。 2. I was born in + 月份的句型难点: What’s going on?的理解和运用。【资源准备】教具(生日蛋糕、蜡烛、生日卡、动物头饰)、绘本音频录制、相关视频四、教学策略1.利用图片、视频、实物创设情景,帮助学生直观地理解和学习对话内容。2.重视全员参与,采取全班学习、个人学习、小组合作学习的形式,使各个层面的学生都能参与。五、教学过程ProceduresTeacher’s activitiesLearner’s activitiesPurposesPre-task preparationLet’s chant Follow the video and chant togetherLearn the new words: candle. The animals answer “I’m … .” Teacher say: “Let’s put … candles on the birthday cake.” 4-1 Teacher reads the story and students listen Students read the story together.
