Unit 11 I was born in January教学设计【学习目标】一．   语言知识与技能目标（一）语言知识目标1.能熟练地听、说、读以下词汇：present,  cake, card, candle,  party, January, was, be born, go on2. 能听读以下句型：1）What’s going on?     2）I was born in January.3. 能借助情境理解课文，并进行表演。 （二）语言技能目标1.能用正确的语音语调朗读课文对话。2.能在听说的活动中理解和运用本课单词和句型，并能运用所学的语言进行模拟交际。 （三）学习策略目标小组合作学习，积极交流，共同完成学习任务。 （四）情感态度目标1. 乐于模仿，敢于开口说英语，积极与人交流。2. 通过活动，培养学生参与课堂教学活动的兴趣和积极性。 （五）文化意识目标通过本话题的学习，学会祝福别人的生日，并养成礼貌得体的交际礼仪。 二、学情分析四年级的学生一般都活泼好动，形象思维好。但本模块词汇量大，功能词多，尤其是比较复杂的12个月份的单词学习，可能让学生对英语产生了一定的畏难感。而且他们对旧知识的遗忘率较高，因此常常表达起来不是很流畅。创设生日会的情景，营造融洽愉快的课堂氛围，有利于打破不敢说英语的心理障碍。经过Module5的学习，学生基本掌握了现在进行时的结构，对动词ing形式并不陌生。利用抽签的方式寻找小寿星，满足孩子们的寻求刺激的特点，增进他们进行小组合作学习的热情。 三、教学重、难点重点：1.能正确理解并流利朗读课文。      2.
